The city is known for its salt flats and the impressive Parque Natural de las Lagunas de La Mata y Torrevieja, where flamingos can be spotted. The beaches, such as Playa del Cura and Playa de Los Locos, invite you to sunbathe and swim. Active holidaymakers will find numerous water sports options here, such as sailing, diving and windsurfing. Cultural excursions are also possible, for example to the historic Torre del Moro tower or the Museum of Sea and Salt.
