The hotel is a nightmare. The maintenance doesn't exist. I had to buy towels, they were disgusting. The room carpet was old and it looked like it havent been vacuum for a feel days. I had to wait for 10 minutes at the reception.

Nasty carpet, stinky room, they gave me and my family (we have 3 children of ages 1 and 2) room on the 3rd floor while the elevator was not working. What a terrible experience. Will not book again!

Do not stay at this hotel it’s not safe. We had people trying our door and knocking when I opened the door it was men of different nationalities, I later discovered the local council are housing homeless immigrants in the hotel. The place is filthy as well. Everything dirty damaged and uncomfortable. Towels hard and awful low quality wouldn’t even use them for cleaning, the same as the bedding. We didn’t sleep at all here and left as soon as we could

Our room was literally on the doorstep of a nightclub. We left. When we left, the man at reception seemed very understanding of the situation, as if he knew it was coming?

We had to walk quite a way with our luggage the car park we used was on chapel street NCP and only £5.50 over night. We reduced our luggage so we didn’t have much to carry. Staff were very helpful and it was lovely to receive a telephone call prior and after to check if all was well. A very old building unfortunately the lift wasn’t working so we had a few floors to climb but for what we paid it was excellent and would use again.

Check in was done on staff's mobile phone, which felt very sketchy. Room on the 4th floor, of course no lift. Sheets were clean, didn't dare lift to check for mattress protector. Hair in the mug, hairs all over the bathroom, no handsoap, no plug for the sink or a hand towel. Mould around the bath. Somebody had clearly quickly dragged a cloth over the place without actually cleaning anything. TV did not work. Unreliable wifi. Mattress was thin, like something you would find in student accomodation, could feel every spring. Pigeons cooing right beside my head through the wall! For £25 for the night it could have been worse.

We paid for 3 nights but packed up and booked another hotel the very next morning..avoid!

After booking online and paying for the room, my girlfriend and I turned up to the hotel to find out it was closed for maintenance but they where still advertising it as open. We couldn't get in contact with a single person about this so had to find another hotel to stay at so basically got completely scammed. I will be going to trading standards if i cannot find a way of getting my refund and compensation.

Pillows were thin and you could heard the club outside but fab room for price and such friendly staff. Room clean, great shower and cosy rooms

Booked last minute for a meeting a had an excellent stay and very cheap. I think this hotel must have just be decorated as its new carpets etc throughout.

I enjoyed my courtesy Hotels.com reward night stay. I am familiar with Aberdeen so knew the good location for visitors or those seeking a break or night out. My single room on the 2nd floor was very clean, modern and had a "new" feel. My room did not have a window but that was not a problem for me. Maybe a benefit for noise from late night revelers in the centre of Aberdeen. I think the old granite building made some indoor noise worse. Noise from fellow guests (squeaky floor boards, TV and chatting noise) but that ceased around midnight. There was well stocked tea & coffee making facilities and a modern Freeview flat-screen TV. The free wi-fi worked well. I had read some negative reviews about cold showers. I needed to shower before going out for supper. However, after waiting several minutes for a warm supply, I had to take a cold shower. Eventually the water became warm. So be warned!

For the cost of this hotel it is great value for anyone coming for business or just to visit Aberdeen.

The room was small and noisy. The floor in the room was uneven, making the bed lie at an angle. Situated right next to nightclubs, so nighttime noise was a major factor until around 2am. The bathroom shower was a pitiful, over the bath shower and it absolutely soaked the floor through the screen. The breakfast included was terrible. It wasn’t stated that it was a “continental” breakfast. Two choices of cereal, toast and a dry warmed up croissant doesn’t cut it. Pathetic.

Staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. The manager met us at reception and had no manners whatsoever. Hair in plughole of bath which the manager came to remove and accused us of putting it there! Hairs found on bedding. I have never had such a horrendous experience in any hotel ever before. Myself and my children were very shook up and traumatised for days after staying here.
