Great location - very close to the QPAC and the Southbank beach and restaurants

The valet parking was a bit chaotic. There were cars everywhere and I had to squish my car in which I wasn’t super comfortable about.

Biggest problem was loud clunking noise coming from behind the wall that occurred intermittently throughout entire stay. It was loud enough to interfere with sleep. Perhaps it was noisy plumbing pipes? Also wasn’t worth paying for river view as the room was on level 6 and thus the view was 2/3 obscured by a building. The room seemed quite tired with scuffed paint and dated decor. None of the usual hotel touches like cold water or single serve milk in the bar fridge. The bar fridge also badly needed to be defrosted and was struggling to keep things cold.

Room service would not answer calls to place breakfast order. After 2 phone calls to operator & placing breakfast order, breakfast did not not arrive. Called reception to chase up breakfast. Still no breakfast. Finally cancelled breakfast. Trip was to celebrate my mum's 95th birthday. She had to take her medication with breakfast. Big let down by the hotel. This was despite reception knowing it was a 95th celebration. No coffee mugs in rooms. When asked for mugs night room staff brought only 1 mug to room saying "We only have one left" No herbal teas, and not enough coffee or chocolate drinks in room. Poor stocking of complimentary items.

Property was in an ideal position! Close to great food and drink, the theatre, wheel of Brisbane etc. we didn’t need the car the whole weekend :)

It was beautiful the location was epic the staff were friendly and professional the room was so comfortable the bed was amazing best sleep we ever had

Can’t think of one thing we were so impressed with this hotel and will definitely be back soon I highly recommend this hotel it is a must 😊😊😊

Location. Close to theatre where my son was performing in Beauty and The Beast. South Bank is beautiful. The hotel was wonderful, clean, people friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, the variety and quality of the food was wonderful.

The pillows were too high.
