Exceptional view to the Fortress, good size of the room, very good breakfast and facilities. Quick check-in.

Everything was very pleasant, maybe the bathroom needs some redecoration, but it was OK.

Ober restaurant zo leuk. Hij had in Nederland gewerkt. Heeft ons erg geholpen met advies glutenvrij bestellen. Er was nog een mooie lichtshow.

Uitchecken. Er zat een jongedame en die keek ons niet eens aan. Voelde echt alsof ze je niet mocht. Ze had ook een zeer trotse hoogmoedige houding.

Стаята не отговаря на категорията. Нямах тераса, което ме разочарована, а прозореца гледаше към ... покрив и странична улица. Няма климатик, а странен уред, вероятно работещ само през зимата... Оскъдните тоалетни принадлежности НЕ отговарят на категорията на хотела!!! Ютия няма. Кана за вода-също. Лед в коридорите-не. Басейна не ми хареса.

The communal areas and the breakfast were nice. The bed was comfortable, I slept well.

It was all ok but the room was dark, a bit depressing. Everything a bit old and tired. The bathroom in particular really needs modernizing.

The hotel was clean, rooms were spacious and some views were amazing. There’s a panoramic elevator to see the surrounding landscape, too. Location is central and within walking distance to all attractions, and there’s roughly 15 parking spots right beside it. Breakfast was good quality although variety did lack (considering its 4 star rating) - but can’t complain.

The staff were absolutely abysmal. They barely speak any ounce of English - which wouldn’t be a problem except they cuss at you in Bulgarian if they don’t get you. The cleaning staff were rude and entered the room well before checkout (despite the DND sign being hung still while we were at breakfast). We left this feedback with front desk only to be met with “but they noticed no one was in the room so we checked you out”. Again, nice hotel, but staff hospitality and manners are a disaster.
