Excellent - will recommend to others

We had an amazing stay in Donegal! We were a family of 6 with 4 adults, 1 teen and 1 younger child and the house was very spacious. The views from the front lawn during sunsets were spectacular! We were visiting our family in Falcarragh but also did some local activities including a morning kayak with Kitty’s Kayaks and a hike up to the top of Mt. Errigal. The house was perfect for us as it was close to our family in Falcarragh and had everything we needed for our stay. We hope to return to visit again soon and would definitely stay here again! House and contents in general were absolutely fantastic and views were superb. Lots of positives but negatives would include almost inaccessible driveway and grass too long for kids to play on. Biggest disappointment was the fact that the heating and hot water did not work for the first 24hrs and, although the owners were fairly quick to remedy the problem, there was not one apology given despite the fact that I was asked to go the boiler and fix it myself and the phone numbers provided at the location for the local assistance were unobtainable.

We had a fantastic stay at Aodhan’s family property - it was perfect for us and had everything we needed. Spotless clean and lots of places to relax and chill out.

Property is in mint condition with all the facilities you require. Stunning views over to Tory Island. Hosts very helpful. Look forward to returning.

An overall very good holiday

La maison independante est spacieuse, confortable, parfaitement équipée et d'une propreté irreprochable (avec au rez de chaussée 3 salons pour ceux qui veulent s'isoler). La propriété est isolée, calme, en hauteur et domine une magnifique baie avec un très beau panorama. On trouve dans les deux villages à toute proximité des petits supermarchés avec tout ce dont on a besoin. Elle est idealement placée, pour visiter la region du Donegal, qu'il s'agisse de la superbe côte ou du parc national de Glenveagh et ses paysages epoustouflants.Des propriétaires très sympathiques , Francis et Siobhan . qui nous ont accueillis et qui sont tres facilement contactables en cas de besoin. Nous recommandons vivement cette propriété.

Beautiful, quiet location. Easy check in and out. This being our first trip to Ireland we didn’t understand the electric meter top up system but Francis graciously offers to take the charges out of your deposit.

My three friends and I spent at week exploring Co. Donegal and Northern Ireland from this lovely home. Upon our arrival, Francis greeted us and introduced us to the house and its amenities. It has all the modern touches a traveler could want, plus it is comfortable and its location can’t be beat. The sea views were gorgeous: every night the sunset was breathtakingly beautiful. Throughout the week, if we had a question or concern, Francis was quick to reply. It was a pleasure renting this home, and we would recommend this property to others seeking a relaxing, modern holiday home.

We loved the week we spent in Gortahork. The house has everything you may wish for, even more. It's spacious and extremely comfortable with 3 different rooms to choose from when you want to watch TV, read or just relax. There is absolutely everything you need in the kitchen, just like at home. The deco is first class and the view stunningly beautiful as the house is overlooking the sea. The location is perfect as well, within walking distance of the Falcarragh beach and just a 10 minute walk from the local shop which is extremely well stocked and where you can find delicious fresh bakery every day. There are no close neighbours so it's absolute silence all the time. The owners are very nice and helpful and they were there to welcome us and explain everything, which was greatly appreciated It was for the 4 of us the perfect place for the perfect holiday. While the kitchen lacked bowls and a few things like that, the house was clean, new/well-maintained, and very comfortable for a larger group. It’s good to have a car, but the walk to town is easy and the house is well located for walks to the beach etc. North Americans should be aware of the pay as you go electricity model.

The home had everything we needed, and was a great place to stay. The hosts were very helpful and responsive.

Das Haus war sehr sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet und hatte einen wunderbaren Blick auf Meer und irische Küste. Kleine Verständnisprobleme mit der Heizungssteuerung wurden schnell gelöst. Jederzeit wieder, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Directions perfect and met by friendly owners with a very welcome offer of a cuppa. House very spacious and lovely with wifi/netflix (albeit bit intermittent given on top of the hill). Everything possible you would need in the house and quite a good bit of grass area for kids to play. The view however was the highlight and even though we weren't lucky with the weather it was to die for. Walking distance to Falcarragh beach which is gorgeous and the town with a couple of good pubs and walking distance to Gortahork as well albeit only really the hotel and shop there. Great base for touring gaeltacht area of Donegal. Great family get a way house. Definitely will be back.

We were 3 french couples to visit Ireland ! The house was perfect, ideally situated, there is no neighbour (only 1, not disturbing) it is a very relaxing area, quiet area, view on the sea !!! We have seen the most beautiful sunset ever ! The commons areas were very practice, you have everything that you need (you can wash your clothes, you can cook everything, you can watch the TV in amazing sofa, you can play to the Play station, or just relax in sofa looking at the beautiful view ...). There is 4 rooms 2 doubles+ 2 twins, the owner was very nice and accepted that in 1 room we can put the twins beds next to each other as we were 3 couples. All the rooms have there private bathrooms !! (instead of the twins rooms, 1 bathroom only for both but there is a other bathroom on the ground floor). This house is perfect for 6 or 8 people, very spacious, and you can have privacy. This house is only for people who have or rent a car. The only 2 small negatives points is that the house is not easy to find despite owner's informations and for my case the owner was not here for welcome us (anyway we arrive very late...). We have amazing time in this house. We definitely recommand this place !
