Great shower and fast WiFi

Clean room, great location. Considering the price, it is beyond my expectations.

I was overcharged when I arrived. I was quoted a cost of $238 including taxes for two nights by Booking.com, but the motel added $35.70 for a 'Commission', for a total of $273.70. I contacted Booking.com on Sunday, Sept. 11th to request a resolution to this problem, but have not yet heard back.

I have always been charged the stated cost when I book through your services. This was an anomaly and totalling unexpected.

Checking out. Provided a fan when asked on day 2. Gave a partial discount as the pool is out of use.

Room was incredibly hot, AC did little to change temp, no one on reception post 10pm so when we went to go to bed and use the sofa bed discovered there was no bedding despite the booking being for 3 people and no-one there to rectify so slept without bedding until next day. Windows have no lock so are held shut with a wooden offcut that you wedge in place or remove to open the windows. TV remote didn't work had to reprogram it myself. Dishes and cutlery clearly from a charity shop not a single matching item in the lot. Frying pan but no saucepan. No extractor fan. No separate AC in bedroom so if door shut it becomes very hot very quick.

I didn't know about or get a breakfast.

Great water pressure in the shower, dedicated parking outside of the rooms so just about everyone has a parking spot. Restaurants/gas stations close by.

Pool was closed without any notice, no signage or notice it was closed when checking in. Credit card was charged before we even checked in. Wasn’t overly impressed about that.

Great hotel at reasonable prices. The boss is warm and considerate. Good location. The room is newly decorated, the bed is comfortable and the room is clean. The kitchen in the room was beautiful and full of utensils. There's something homey about living here. There is a big swimming pool outside. I'll be here again next time.

Our hosts (single property owners and managers), Mr and Mrs Lao could not have been better hosts. As a "Genius 3" Booking.com member my wife and I have stayed at many, many (dozens and dozens) of properties since the start of Covid (remarkably, perhaps unbelievably, I know). These were the best hosts I have personally encountered in all my travels through 18 countries in the 21 months of Covid by motorcycles (both of us - if I may make a small plug for our website www.ontheroadagain.bike, any person may see this). And literally the very top value for money, including any in South Africa, any in any of the Balkan counties and northern and southern Eastern Europe, which are famously (and are in fact) super high value for money for any backpacker, "USD 100 a day" or luxury traveller. I'm sure South America is the same, I have yet to go. Actually, the only comparable are my travels through Vietnam, Burma (not Myanmar before the), Thailand 30 years ago. Thank you Mr and Mrs Lao. You deserve my custom. I am coming back several times even this as we are based in the Canadian Rocky Mountains for the next year or before we are "On the Road Again.bike (@ontheroadagain.bike). Thank you Booking.com. I think your refreshed online properties and offerings have stepped up even another notch. And they were perfect for us as daily users (133 properties stayed at over 20 months, over 90% from memory on Booking.com). Kind regards, Robert

Pool not open

Lots of amenities in the suite, all of which worked. Suite large enough that it was not cramped. Beds for three adults even though only two were called for.

Air conditioner too small and completely ineffective. Only one sheet per bed (bottom)- top covering was a quilt, too heavy for warm weather. Warm water took an inordinate amount of time to materialize when called for morning shower. Slightly noisy location. Swimming pool not open. Dated room not modern (although in decent condition). No night table or clock-radio in bedroom. Sofa a bit old and tattered.

Friendly owners, clean, quiet.

Broken curtain rod. Landscaping in need of attention. Needs TLC inside and out. Perhaps it is lack of staff for outside maintenance and lack of funds over last couple of years for updating inside

smoking rooms and way to hot. if the ac would have been turned on when I booked the room may have been a tad cooler

Size and location, friendly stuff

Dirty, outdated, lots of thing need to be fixed. Incomplete and dirty kitchenware. This place needs major reno and upgrade.

great value and service

I liked the fact that you could drive/park just outside your room, making it easy to transfer luggage, etc. The bed was situated in a different room and comfortable. There was a kitchenette. Helpful hostess with our requests. Priced reasonably and the location was central.

No complaints, this suited us just fine (older couple on vacation).

I found this motel to be quite dirty We had to ask for sheets and blankets for the fold out couch. The towels and face clothes were stained

The price was good but the suite was dirty

Wifi service was good. Staff very friendly. Parking was no problem, and location was good. Sheets, towels, etc. clean.

Unfortunately, there was no coffee-maker in the room. Arg-h-h-h! The television and cable box were plugged into an outlet that also controlled the "living room" and "kitchen lights" (limitations on cable hookup). The next door neighbour woke me at 3:30 a.m. drunker than a skunk, and was excessively noisy. Suggest that "residents" and "guests" be housed on opposite sides of the building.
