It should have been explained that this was a joint property! On March 17, they started to direct Fairfield traffic over to the other Bonvoy building for check in, check out, and breakfast! Plus, we got directed to the opposite back corner to park and go up in an elevator only to walk the entire length of the two hotels to actually find our room! When we got to the room, it was a double queen instead of the king that we reserved. Also, the telephone in the room did not work. So it was an effort to try to notify the staff, which was to no avail, because the lady just did not want to listen.

I only asked 1 thing and that was for a quit room and we got highway level highway side noisy room.

Bottom sheet on the bed was not strapped down with the elastic corners. We had to pull the bed out and remake it. This is not what you want to do after being on the Highway go hours. The breakfast looked great but we didn’t get to eat. No place to sit and so many people we would have had to fight our way to the food and stand to eat it.

Very friendly staff. Even talked with other guests and they were friendly too. Bed was comfortable.

First off, the person who checked us in was very nice and even provided us with First-Aid supplies (I had gotten hurt and needed them). The rooms and layout of the hotel was very nice and clean and was also very modern. Breakfast consisted of waffles, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, a variety of breads, bacon and of course eggs (boiled and scrambled). There was also parfaits, juices, and chocolate milk. Later after we left, we realized that we forgot something at the hotel and after we gave the hotel a call, Ruby was quick to help. She was overly obliging and tried to help me. Ruby talked things out with her manager and was able to provide me with aid. I appreciate her efforts and kindness and her generosity. My visit at this Inn was wonderful and through this experience, my stay has been made complete.

Window faced the highway and a car dealership that had bright lights on at night. The window did not have a curtain, just a shade to filter the light. Room was very bright at night. A lot of road noise. This hotel is 2 hotels in one. The other side is a Sheraton. Our elevator wasn't working so we had to use Sheraton elevator. Restaurant was closed one night. Happy hour at the bar was also only one night.

Our room was clean. The property is located right off the highway. The bed was comfortable. Dakotah with the night staff was very friendly as we arrived late and were tired.

The day time staff we encountered were horrible. Upon check in we were told breakfast on Saturdays went till 10am. Upon heading to the breakfast area with our 5 year old who was so excited for breakfast by 9:30 it was already cleaned up not a scrap of food in sight. My husband asked the front desk and the woman up front said she ends breakfast by 9:30 and she’s the manager bc 10 is too close to checkout. We were surprised by this. My 5 year old is crying as she loves hotel breakfasts and we had gotten her excited about it but we let her sleep in since we arrived so late. If you have a time of 10am, you should be consistent. My husband did also try to talk to her about another issue. I had reserved a crib for my 10 month old when I booked this stay a month ago. I even got a message from the property upon booking and the message mentioned my crib request. Upon arrival it was not there. The night staff apologized and said the daytime staff didn’t set one aside and they were all taken. The property only has 2 cribs. So my husband did try to discuss with her this issue which was why we stayed there and she was incredibly rude to the point other customers were apologizing for her behavior. They complained to someone who worked there about her behavior and we were able to check out with someone else. She took our information and apologized. She said she couldn’t do anything but was embarrassed and would be speaking to their property owner about the incident.

Overall, the hotel is very clean, and it looks like it has been recently renovated. The location of the hotel is close to shopping areas. They also provide a good breakfast with a good selection of food to choose from. The room is very clean and well maintained. The room has a microwave and a fridge, which is very convenient. They also provide a coffee maker with free coffee. The beds are clean and comfortable. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and provides good customer service. Overall, it is a good hotel to stay when in Amerillo.

The room and bathroom are very compact. So, it can be very tight for a family with a kid. The room we got had the view of the highway. Therefore, at night we were able to hear the noise from the vehicles. The hotel has just one elevator which is very slow. So, you might have to wait for a very long time for it to come to your floor. Lastly, the Internet at this hotel is terrible. It is so slow that no one is able to even check their email if you are connected to it let alone stream anything on your mobile devices. So, if you are planning to work from the hotel, you are better off connecting to your mobile hotspot on your phone.

I hated that I booked in booking.com but the hotel never received by booking. So thankfully they still had a room available but I got it even cheaper due to my military discount than booking.com was going to charge!

The staff were warm and friendly. Staff were eager to help. Bathroom was well maintained.

Carpeting/flooring appeared stained giving rise to questions of cleanliness. The nearby highway was SOOOO LOUD. A light sleepers is challenged in this environment. While family friendly is a great core value, there was one night of an extremely loud group of children (who were staying in the hotel) who were playing outside well past sundown. I would have wished for parental initiative (perhaps at the hotel's cueing) to reduce the shrill, incessant screaming, especially post sundown. Lastly, there is a substantial burden created by the social environment (homeless citizens). We were repeatedly warned (e.g., Uber driver, Amarillo residents) of concern for safety. This was a significant concern while coming and going from the hotel.
