Breakfast was not included. We ordered breakfast on our own. The table we had and indeed the entire restaurant was cold. The vent was blowing right on us and we asked the waiter if he could shut or deflect the air. He told us he could not as the entire hotel was set at one temperature and could not be changed.

The hotel did not reflect on the price. For $600.00 per night, I expected a five-star property and based on the condition of the hotel, I would give it no more than 3 stars.

The hotel was a nightmare to get hold of before and during our stay. They simply do not answer the telephone or respond to any messages on booking.com.

i went to Hotel Opus to celebrate my 10th Wedding anniversary. I was married at this hotel under the name of the Ritz Carlton, in 2011. I planned my trip well in advance and made a special request for location (an upper floor with a view). Instead we were placed on a lower floor, at the back of the hotel looking directly at a building and a parking garage and roof. I immediately notified the front desk, after a period of time…we were placed into a different room. The interior space was beautiful, yes. However, the view again was nonexistent. The front desk staff appeared nonchalant and stated that “none of the rooms really have a good view.”. It should be noted this hotel is one of the tallest buildings in White Plains. It’s website boasts its views. Needless to say, I was not pleased.

The lack of professionalism by one of the employees. The view….I could have provided more pictures. It was a true disappointment.
