Our stay was 4 nights. The location was perfect for our travels around South Dakota, 30 minutes from every attraction. The price was reasonable for a holiday week.

They seem to be short on everything. No coffee in the room and the continental breakfast was always short on regular coffee, donuts, cup lids etc. The bathroom did not have an exhaust fan and the shower tub combo was dangerous. Slick bottom tub and no hand rails. The staff could have been a bit more friendly. It seemed they felt we were a bother when we asked for Kleenex or if coffee pods for the rooms had come in.

These guys have an amazing most wonderful breakfast to wake up to. Such a variety of stuff to start your day off right. It was so quiet and the employees were so pleasant and helpful as well. They accepted my service dog with no complaints at all. No questions no attitudes and very welcoming. We will definitely stay here again..

Check in was quick

No where to park. Passed out person laying in rocks by front door. Dead bolt didn’t work so made me feel very unsafe. The place was not very clean.

The lady who worked at night was a very nice and comfortable woman to talk to.

Our room was nice and quiet. The room was also clean, with plenty of towels.

Upon arriving, we put our bathing suits on to take advantage of the pool/jacuzzi. Unfortunately the jacuzzi was out of order. The temps outside were in low 40 degrees and there was only a small portable heater for the whole pool area. Needless to say the water was too cold to swim in and contacted staff, which said she would contact maintenance. If we would of known the pool would be unusable, we would have went elsewhere. The breakfast bar was just so-so. It was not kept full and had to ask for cups for coffee/juice. There was no orange juice and told staff which ignored me and did not refill. The carpets in hallways and main area were dirty and desperately in need of cleaning. Overall this motel is outdated and could use a facelift. Rates were too high for what we got.

The location

The bedding and carpet was all damp and musty smelling. The room smelled so bad from cleaners like they were trying to cover up a smell. It was so strong we had to open the window. All this caused my allergies to flare up.
