Shower is good with good mix of hot and cold water with good pressure. That’s the only positive about this hotel.

Everything, Strong Urine smell as soon as I entered my room. Slow WiFi, filthy toilet bowl and I can see shit stains near the bowl hole, outrageous!!! Well, Motel 6 can’t afford to install new a new toilet bowl?

We booked this motel based on the reviews that were posted. Cleanliness was a top priority and this hotel had good marks. When we arrived our "no smoking" room was anything but that. We bought spray and plug ins and my husband even cleaned the air conditioner screen. Despite that it continued to smell like someone was in there smoking. The floor was so dirty we could not walk on it barefooted. The bed was not comfortable and we had to go to the office for fresh towels. I have learned my lesson about inexpensive motels and relaying on online reviews. We were in Cedar Rapids for a funeral and left a day early because we couldn't take another night in that motel.

There was one housekeeper who I find very polite every time I come there who is very nice and there was another who was the complete opposite (kind of rude and doesn't smile or relate to customers). Since I can't say names without forfeiting my opinion...the very nice one carried a light saber on her night walks she created. She has been there for years and she always was friendly and very helpful when spoken to. Hopefully they tell her she is doing a great job.

My room was booked out before checkout. No courtesy call or anything.

Right price

Sheryl called me at 11 telling me I’m past my checkout time. But my reservation said checkout was at 12. And she was rude about it. Instead she could have apologized and said it would get fixed online. There is obviously no such thing as customer service at this motel.

floor coming up, tv did not work, no hot water. sheet on inside out, Bathroom fan sounded like it was going to explode. base trim laying on floor. obvious water damage to flooring and trim . toilet hardly flushed and no smoke alarm (missing)
