We were greeted exceptionally by a gentleman whose name I think was Scott. He was genuinely friendly and very gracious that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Also, the shuttle driver, Barry, was very helpful and friendly. He was very positive and happy to share his knowledge of the area and answer our questions. The facility was well kept and very clean. Location was convenient to downtown.

Everything else: all of the other staff were very unfriendly, especially at breakfast and at the bar. I had a drink one afternoon at the bar and never returned during the rest of the stay since it wasn't pleasant at all. Breakfast was terrible due to being completely understaffed. The food was barely edible. For example, we had to return our toast because it was burnt. And because the same person was hosting, taking orders, and running orders, we had to repeat our orders each day. And vey unfriendly. The pool wasn't operational. And other guests were told that arrangements were made with the property across the street to use their pool, but we were never extended that offer and only found out on the last day! And although our "upgraded" room was stated as a suite, it was totally misrepresented since it was merely one room with different sections. So for an extreme price we received no suite, no pool, no view, no beach, terrible food, and unfriendly staff.

Hotel room was big and clean with a great bed.

Atmosphere, the room was very comfortable. The woman when we checked in was so very lovely!! Sadly, we can’t remember her name, but she was so kind. Please tell her. She was a black woman. Loved her! Also, the manager at the bar was friendly and nice when we stopped for a drink at night.

The breakfast took a long time to be served and was the wrong type of eggs, but we were pressed for time and accepted what they brought us.

Very bad experience and waste of time, since we arrived there was a mistake, regarding the reservation we made, they never gave us the reserved room, which was a room with two rooms and two beds each room, it seems that they gave our room to another client and they tried to solve the problem by giving us two rooms with three beds and a sofa bed without any additional cost of course because it was not our fault, well that's what they told us, until the day of checkout they wanted to charge us 500 dollars more, that was today and we are still waiting for an answer about it. Without counting several payment transfers that appear in the account exaggeratedly, still pending, we are still waiting for a response.

The front desk manager (gentleman) was Exceptional

The area was nice, front entrance is kind of wonky to get to from street but overall it's in a very good location.

First of all let me start with all the issues we had were corrected but...I booked my stay on Booking and noted that payment would be collected upon my arrival, well the day prior my payment was charged for 200 more than the total posted on my confirmation. I assumed that this was for incidental charges but upon arrival I was asked to supply a new credit card for incidental expenses. When I asked about the differing charges I was told that it was a mistake and I would only be charged what my total was on Booking, I was given a room key and told that everything was all. We went up to our room but quickly determined that we had been given a key for a room that was occupied. So back to the front desk to get another key. Got a new room but 30 minutes after being in our room someone else came in our room because the front desk had given them the key to our room.. Like I said all these issues were corrected but it was a few to many errors in my opinion

Picked hotel for location.

First room assigned was hot and smelly. Second room was cooler. Rooms are small with minimal and homely furnishings. Ty The restaurant was staffed with only one waiter who delivered my meal to another (frustrated) diner. Finally got my meal in stages—first French fries, then finally the burger, and lastly, my salad! Dinner took 2 hours!
