The attached restaurant is a favorite of my daughters for their gluten free menu. The shuttle to Mayo Clinic was much nicer than walking the tunnel system! Loved that breakfast was included and I did not have to pay for parking as well.

We stayed in one of the oldest detached buildings and would not choose this option again. While it was a comfortable bed and the room looked clean, it smelled musty and was outdated. The air conditioner was not actually in the bedroom. There was an exhaust looking fan in the wall that was noisy and the only way to blow the cold air from the living room into the bedroom. We were also up on the 3rd floor farthest from the elevator and found it be difficult to access the room easily.

This hotel has several different buildings; the pool, restaurant, and breakfast were in all in the main building that was very nice and updated but the building our room was in was quite a trek away and was very outdated and had poison ivy all over the walkways and railings.

Facilities were all beautiful, mattress so comfy and it felt very safe.

Hotel is a little run down. The toilet in our room didn’t flush very well. It took a long time for the shower to get hot. The bathroom fan was squealy. Hot tub wasn’t very hot.

We loved the shuttle service to and from Mayo. Breakfast options were a lot better than the other hotel we stayed at during our last visit. Free parking was also nice. I read there are some hotels that charge for parking!

I personally didn't find the bed to be too comfy but my boyfriend slept like a rock. Wish they offered a bigger discount for Mayo patients.

The property was very nicely decorated out front and in the lobby. Beautiful flowers out front.

I think the hotel would benefit from taking the carpets out of the rooms. I personally think rugs are hard to keep clean, and trap odors. I know others would disagree and prefer carpet but I think carpets in general are kind of yucky.

Location

This was my second stay at this hotel. The first stay was satisfactory, but this time, I was put in a separate building with no elevator. I had to drag my luggage up an outdoor flight of stairs. My bed came out of the wall, had no comforter or pillows, just a rough brown blanket, and was as hard as the floor. I had to use the pillows from the loveseat. The room had a foul odor, and the bathroom was so gross, I refused to shower in it. The hotel staff was very dismissive upon check in. The cost of the second stay was also significantly higher than the first.
