big room, comfortable bed

very dated, need to vacuum under bed as super dusty, big room but mostly empty

I liked the theme, the exterior appears very cozy especially in the evening when the Christmas lights come on.

It was filthy. Dusty filthy carpeting, old walls and a ripped curtain that was yellow from smoke stains. The shower was covered in black mold and the fan didn’t work. It all felt highly unsanitary. Upon checking out, the lady working the front desk gave me a weird dirty look. This place is desperately in need of renovations. It is not nearly as nice as the advertisements shows.

Parking was crowded in the back. We had to take an upstairs room which is harder for a asenior couple.

It was cute at first sight.

Our room was nothing like the advertised rooms pictured. It looked like it was decorated with mis-matched things at a thrift store.

The staff. Outside looks were great. Spa tub. Breakfast was ok.

Old decor in room. Wall paper peeling. Rooms were a little smaller than we are used to for price.

The staff nicely set up a cot in the room and had it ready when we got there, and they were nice and helpful at check-in. It’s very cute on the outside. The sheets were clean.

The decorations and furnishings inside the rooms were old, dated, and not very comfortable. The red shag carpet had cigarette burns in it and should have been replaced about 20 years ago. Breakfast was “pre-packaged”.

We booked in the main section of the motel (Queen room w/ gas fireplace & jacuzzi). The room was very clean with all the amenities required for our stay. Front desk staff at both check-in and check-out were friendly and informative. The complimentary continental breakfast provided a fair assortment of items (eggs, breads, fruits, juices, etc.). All in all, a good stop over for a weekend road trip to Oak Harbor (1.5 miles) and Deception Pass State Park (8 miles).

The motel itself is rather dated, however, this should not deter you as the provided amenities are more than sufficient. We did have an one issue using their Wifi (the signal was too weak in our room to be usable). Otherwise, no other issues encountered.

The outside is as cute as the internet picture. We were there to visit our son and his family who just transferred to Whidey Island NAS. Were treated like their best friends, very clean and comfortable., will return. TV service excellent, has a great selection of stations to watch. Got a good night sleep 😴 Parking in front of room on bottom floor.

Needs more than wastebasket in room. There was a draft under entry door so put a towel at the door and it was fine.

We checked in and got into our room and it was nothing like the pictures. Very cramped And the carpet had stains all over it. Once we walked up the stairs and in the hallway we could smell very strong bleach. We got to our room and it was so strong that we opened the windows hoping that it would air out. After about 10 minutes we thought that it was way too strong to breathe all night And so we went to the check in area and said that we could not stay there because it was way too strong. He gladly refunded us our money. I have passed by this hotel many times and always thought how nice it looked. It may be super clean from all the bleach but it is not a cozy comfortable place at all.

The actual room. Fireplace didn't work. Got moved. Then new room smelled like propane. Dirty room in both when we arrived. You could tell things just weren't cleaned well. Staff was friendly. Manager was some what friendly.

Everything was great! Even being right off Highway 20, I did not hear the traffic noise. Very quaint room, super comfortable, friendly staff, choices of breakfast, very clean (I used to be a head housekeeper so I always purposely check certain things lol) I got a great deal just minutes away from where I needed to be. Very lovely stay, highly recommend!

My only con was the water pressure and temperature while showering. Water wouldn't go above luke warm and very little pressure. Possibly could have been from too many people using the hot water in a short amount of time. Otherwise, my stay was extremely enjoyable.
