room was very small and no door for privacy while taking a shower. too expensive for the room we stayed in. I stayed at beach plum resort for same price and it was a 2 bedroom with kitchen and living room

We looooved the location to the beach! It was such a unique spot. So different from anywhere we have been. Overall, it was a great get away.

Sadly, I was very disappointed in the staff. They just seemed indifferent to us being there. No one really welcomed us or explained how things worked upon arrival. But there were some written memos in the room that gave some details. Just felt very odd. Continental breakfast was set out an hour and 15 min after the time stated to guests (which we only noticed on the second day because we weren’t up early the first day)…For the crazy price that we paid for our stay, I expected there to be a warmer more welcoming staff and I was not impressed with the tech in the room. We constantly had trouble with our TV and were unable to order movies which would have been beneficial because my one son wasn’t feeling well one night and we stayed in our room most of the time. A movie would have been perfect. Again, for the price we paid these things should have been a given in my opinion.

the staff and services fell down over and over during our stay. 1. the staff were completely unhelpful and incompetent, bordering on rude. On our second day there, I asked about the beach chairs at the front desk. she told me because it was cloudy that day, the beach attendants didn’t come to work. I thought this was pretty shitty but accepted it. we went to the beach and sat on the sand. not 20 minutes later another guest showed up with a beach attendant and had a chair and umbrella set up. I couldn’t believe the front desk just lied to my face like that. 2. they had a bar set up offering 4 different cocktails. we ordered one of the 4, and the young woman seemed that she had never made a drink before in her life. the portions were off and the 17$ drink was terrible. we watched in shock at how much she struggled to just open the bottle of Prosecco. we never ordered a cocktail again from them. 3. they had a large sign outside saying “Ask about our beach fire pits for the fireworks tonight!”. so we did ! But the two young women at the front desk first told me, they didn’t know what I was talking about. when I said? you literally have a sign outside right now!, they said oh I think we are sold out. when I asked, you think? can’t you confirm? they said, oh the manager is at the beach right now, so no. when I asked, can’t you ask the manager for me then? we would like to reserve one! they said, no ya we are totally sold out. then I asked, but you said you didn’t know a minute ago? they replied, ya, we don’t have any fire pits left!!! I couldn’t believe their attitude. they didn’t want to help us one bit. so then I asked, ok fine, what time do the fireworks start? they said oh I don’t know that either !!! one said, 8? I said, the sun is up at 8 pm still! we left, and went outside, and on the road outside the hotel was a giant sign that said, fireworks start at 9 tonight.

We really love the space and the location, the distance to the beach was amazing and the pool was the best. The breakfast was a nice touch. All of the extras provided in the room, the tend products and the soap options were amazing.

When we arrived it was dark but it wasn't super clear where we need to check in and when we did the staff seemed to be a little confused as to what they should be telling us about the hotel and the space. We couldn't figure out how to make the room cooler when we first arrived and during the breakfast there was only the oatmeal as a gluten free option.

Easy access to the beach, with beach boy service was great. Then the pool is on the way back to the rooms.

Starting Thur you get parties going and you can hear everything. I would not stay here on a weekend.
