Great location, very friendly staff

It was close to the oceanfront. That’s it!
Practically everything! The appearance of this hotel/motel is nothing that you see online. There’s nothing online that states if the establishment is under renovation or if there’s anything wrong with it.
Mind you, we checked-in late at night, actually early morning 0030 hours. I know I didn’t book a room for an early Halloween Haunted Stay Experience!
We literally thought our GPS brought us to the wrong location. When we pulled into the property there was a tarp on the rooftop, the paint is peeling off the walls, the staircases had ripped caution tape around it and others had chains blocking access to certain levels. We then thought, that maybe they’re in the spirit of decorating for Halloween! Cool…right!?!
Anyways…The male front desk representative was rude, and he didn’t provide us a map of the layout of the building to explain where our room and everything else was located. He didn’t inform us if the staircase(s) outside were or weren’t accessible.
The guest room was filthy! The beds weren’t done properly and there were stains on the sheets. The tables and phone were dusty and sticky (Good thing I carry a small emergency cleaning kit.). The floor is dirty, oh, and there is masking tape holding up the boarders around the room. There is a mini refrigerator (it’s cold) and a microwave in the room but we didn’t use them.
The bathroom floor and toilet was sickening to see/use and the shower drainage really sucked!
The breakfast was not that bad if you’re into waffles or muffins. Cereal selection was bland. There was coffee, water, orange juice and apple juice available.
At the time we were there, the ice machine weren’t working. As for the pool, I wouldn’t let my kids or even if I had animals go into that mess (that’s just my opinion).

The location was great and we had a view of the beach
The hurricane caused damage, so we understood it couldn't be helped but it just took us by surprise not knowing until we got there. However, the staff gave us the option of looking at our room and if we decided not to stay, we would receive a refund. We do wish there was an elevator .. only because of luggage though. We like taking stairs.

asked to get room by the pool and view of the beach asked for the same room we had last year and was told there wasn't any available is what we were told so they put us on the back side and my wife was furious after we took all our bags and alot then moved around and baggage NO ELAVATOR up the stairs!
Then the room was clean properly, no comforters on the beds no remote for TV so they put us in another room next to it and then my wife and I were upset so she went back to the office asked and why the the room by the wasn't but by that time there was another lady just got there and my wife asked if the same room we had last year was available and the lady said YES!
Told the lady thank you and ask why the same wasn't available and she said I DON'T KNOW? So we got the same room we wanted but again no comforters on the beds and no toilet paper!
And then to top it off NO WIFI NO INTERNET AND THEY DIDN'T TRY TO FIX THE ISSUE AND WE DROPPED CALLS and delt with this for 5days!!!

AT THAT TIME IT WAS A YOUNG MAN WORKING THAT MORNING ASKED IF I AM A VETERAN AND I SHOWED HIM VETERAN ID AND HE SAID HE WILL REFOUND ME THE 60.00!!

Location was good, price was good, hotel was decent didn’t see any roaches and my hotel room was clean Staff was pretty friendly.
Only thing I didn’t like I had to pay $15 a day for parking.

The pillows were fluffy. The bed was comfortable. That's it!!!!!
Check in took two hours. I had requested 5 rooms on the first floor because there is no elevator and there were an 88 year old an 86 year old and an 84 year old travelling. The rooms were all on the second floor. One room did not have a working air conditioner. They then stated that we had to move to the other side of the hotel. Which meant that an 86 year old and an 84 year old who were about to start on a cruise the next day to celebrate their 64th wedding anniversary would have to go down one flight of stairs then walk clear across the hotel and climb three flights to the third floor. We ended up doubling up with other family members Now the hotel refuses to refund the money for the unused room!!!!

The only thing I didn’t like was not having a coffee maker in the room.

The room was large and overlooked the ocean. As a Vet, I had free parking up front, that was nice.
I paid $155 for a large room. The floor, sink, couch, coffee pot, microwave, shower curtain, shower, door, windows, light switches, mirrors were all dirty. It was gross. Could not make coffee, wrong pods. Phone didn't work. Windows were too dirty to see through, staircase and bannister was gross. The door to balcony was in front of my door and slams shut every time it's opened. And believe me, it was opening all night long. And there were dead flies on the floor and something black and weird inside the air vent overlooking the bedroom. Plastic, trash, I don't know.

I enjoyed the location as the beach access was literally across the street and many restaurants within walking distance. Staff was incredibly friendly and I enjoyed mostly that it was pet friendly .

I loved that the property was right across from the beach!
There were adult men’s underwear hanging from the shower head as well as a used rag when we first entered the room.
There were chunks of hair and a beetle like bug in the middle of the floor.
We were charged $15 to park in the hotel parking lot per night.
The fridge was iced up.
The door to our room was hard to get in and out of.
The only saving grace was that it was literally right across the road from the gulf!

IT IS LOCATED ACROSS FROM BEACH. IT IS SAFE AND LOVE THE AREA.
POOL WAS CLOSED MOST OF OUR STAY. LAUNDRY FACILITIES DIRTY AND HOT INSIDE OF ROOM. YOU HAVE TO GO TO FRONT DAILY FOR TOWELS. BREAKFAST LADY DIDNT REFILL FOOD IN TIMELY MANNER.

Nothing, except the location. The location was the only good thing about this hotel.
This was the filthiest place I’ve ever spent the night. We checked out after the first night and did not stay for the second night because it was so filthy. We asked if we could be moved to another room because it was so filthy, and we were told that they’re all the same. so we requested a refund for the second night and we were told we had to contact Booking.com.

AC did NOT work.
Coffee pot did not work. Would not give us a replacement. Had to go buy our own. Shower and tub did NOT work. The knob was broken. We had 4 people and 3 towels and could not get more. We requested an ocean view and got the back side of the 3rd floor with a view of nothing. The staff was not accommodating or helpful.

When we checked in we were charged $303.60. The day we were checking out I noticed in my bank account we were charged an additional $159.85. The front desk had no reason why we were charged the additional fee.

You have to take your own dirty towels if you want them replaced, they don’t change your bed sheets unless you stay for 3 days and on the 3rd day they will do it only if you ask. Their continental breakfast is only two hours. We requested the first floor and they gave us the third floor. The tables in the common area were dirty, the whole time we stayed there. The floors were disgusting like they don’t ever mop the floors. The elevator did not work. You have to pay $15 a day extra for parking.

Hotel doesn't look like in the pictures everything is old painting outside and inside is peeling off, furniture outside are old and super dirty, we were waiting for our room till 4 I don't even know why no one cleaned the room it was dirty and nasty they even left garbage from the previous people and we didn't have any towels we had to wait for them .

The ONLY 2 things I liked about this place was how close it was to the ocean, and the staff. Tina, Carl, the supervisor and one of the housekeeping staff were VERY polite, efficient and understanding.
If I could rate this hotel 0 stars, I would. First of all $130 a night, $25 pet fee for a hotel that says they’re pet friendly, but DOESNT NOT allow them inside the lobby, and DOESNT have correct potty areas for them, PLUS a daily parking fee. This all comes out to about $170 A NIGHT.
- The door to our room was almost impossible to open, I thought the key card had a faulty mag
- The ceiling had MULTIPLE holes in it AND pieces falling down (probably water damage)
- You’d think the lamps and other metal, easy to rust items, would be sprayed with some rustoleom (however it’s spelt) they were RUSTY!!
- The toilet did not flush
I’m shocked at how expensive it was, especially being BEHIND a restaurant. The ocean view is 60% blocked.
I did not take photos, as we were in a rush to find a new hotel. I can tell you it was on the second floor, I think 211 or 216.

The fact it was beachfront.
There was sand in the beds. Found cockroach's in the room. Floor was not swept or cleaned because I had animal hair all over the place along with sand. Ice machine was always out of ice

Location of the room for my disabled husband and service dog was great. Beach was right across the road.
We extended our stay another night through booking.com and psid online. My husband went that morning to reupholster our room key. The receptionist said she had to have a card on file, my husband relied it already was from night before (my card=wife) and we booked through booking.com and already paid. She said there was no card demanding my husbands card then charged $317 dollars on it. I had to get up out of bed and speed the morning trying to straighten it out. They then put a hold on $317 but said it wouldn’t charge to my husbands account but will be held for 5-7 days. Receptionist kept saying we needed to call booking.com to get our money, I told her booking.com didn’t charge us $317. It was a terrible experience. We ended up having to leave and go back home because that was all the money we had for our mini getaway. It was very disappointing and I felt like they were trying to scam us.

I like that it was walking distance to the beach.
I didn’t get any cleaning throughout the week, I asked where I can put the trash in my room and was told they’d get me a large garbage bag. It was not Wyndham nice, the tub looked very dirty. Just remember you get what you pay for!

The first night we checked in using booking.com LaShonda helped us at the front desk and it was wonderful! Customer Service was superb! My husband is handicapped and we loved the convince! The air conditioner started leaking when we tried to turn the air down a little- it was chilly (I loved it, husband did not). We just asked for a couple more towels to soak it up and put air conditioner back where it was-it worked. And didn’t bother us at all because LaShonda was so nice! The second night we stayed was a horrible! My husband went to recharge the keys and the young girl at the desk wanted my cc card then told my husband it wasn’t valid! 1. My card had a couple thousand on it. 2. I had a confirmation number room was already paid through booking.com 3. She charged my husband $317. Dollars!!!! That was suppose to be our eating money! And my husband doesn’t have that kind of money being on disability! The girl then turned around and told him it’s not a problem because he’ll get his money back in 3 to 7 days!! Not a problem for who? And why did she demand his card? The booking was already paid for in advance through my name, my card with a confirmation! The manager was no help at all. She just brushed it off as a deposit??? What??? Who charges a deposit on someone’s 2nd night stay? It was terrible service from uncaring unhelpful people. If we wouldn’t of seen LaShonda as we left early (because we had no money for dinner) we would of given our stay a 2. But besides the day concierge and manager being terrible, the rest of the stay was nice. Might want to check if they are trying to scam people? Never heard of being charged a deposit for your 2nd night. Also the concierge originally told my husband to call booking.com to get his money back. Seriously? Booking.com didn’t charge us she did!
