We wanted to be pretty far down island and this was perfect. The room had a good view of the beach.

Our bed was awful. Well past its needed replacement date. It was squeaky and not at all comfortable. It would have been nice to have a secure hotel access into the down the long hallway nearer our room. Our room was neat, but I wouldn’t say really clean.

Staff were all very professional and helpful. The morning breakfast very good and dining area was clean. Room was clean and was happy there was a walk in shower. Price was reasonable.

One elevator was out of order which made the wait time long at times. Toilet was short. Had to buy a toilet riser.

The hotel did not fulfill their breakfast commitments since their supplies finished , and customers were asked to go and buy from outside. They showed no remorse for being stingy and mismanaged. This has never happened before in my hundreds of hotel stays. A dead cockroach lay in the center of the room. Photos taken. Bath Towels had brown specks. Ugh. You can imagine what could it be ??

The location was perfect! Sitting on the balcony and watching the sunrise followed by a walk on the beach searching for shells was memorable and convenient. Bonnie was great. I called to change rooms after booking a handicap accessible room and she was very accommodating and understanding. It was a perk that the room had cable, not just a few channels. Also, the breakfast provided was made the room an even better value!

The night desk attendant was dismissive to another guest who had a concern about a neighboring guests volume.

Everything about this Best Western is excellent. Location, service, cleanliness, staff, breakfast. This is my favorite place to stay when I visit Galveston.

Please find more comfortable chairs for the outside of each room, those metal chairs are uncomfortable and heat up quick.

Eine Kakerlake lag im Flur und eine Kakerlacke im frühstücksraum. Nicht sehr appetitlich. Frühstück auf Papptellern! Keine große Auswahl. Empfangsdame nicht sehr freundlich.

The patio was dirty and the old metal chairs out there were disgusting. We could not keep the crickets out of the bathroom. Not sure where they were coming from. The small sign at the front desk indicating that housekeeping services were only available on request was a joke. Never mentioned at check in and no notice in the room. The telephone in the room did not work. The hallways were warm and stale even though there were air vents. Did not seem that any air was being sent through the vents. Front desk personnel were not inviting...almost rude. The entire facility looks like it needs an upgrade

Well our place was not clean the bathroom it had dry pee stains on the toilet the front desk was not there. And I had to go get wipes at the store. Which I thing was unfair.
