Stefan's apartment was stylishly outfitted and comfortable. The king bed was comfortable (a "must" for this older couple) and the apartment was well-located and clean. Although on a busy street, there was no noise. Right on the metro line a couple of blocks from the Elisabeth bridge, we were in easy walking distance from nice restaurants and the excursion boats. Plenty on hanging and drawer space added to our convenience, as did the LIDL grocery about a block away (thanks, Stefan for the starter set of Nespresso pods. Self check-in was easy and info about the apartment was clear.

We enjoyed this property, everything was awesome, we were delighted with our stay. The owners were super responsive, kind and available at any time. Best VRBO we've ever stayed at over our booking accommodations.

It was the perfect fit for me and my family! The property lived up to what all the pictures and reviews were before! Thank you! We will be back!

As a frequent user of VRBO, I can honestly say this is one of the nicest places I’ve rented. Great location close to metro lines/trams and lots of great information provided about the area. The bed is very comfortable, the water pressure wonderful, and it’s so nice to have a washing machine. Stephano was an excellent host, easy to communicate with, and very welcoming. We’ve already said we will rent from him next time we are in the area!!!!

It looks exactly like the pictures. Quiet and charming apartment. We were with a baby and it was very comfortable for us. We received a baby crib for him.A single minus for us there was no bathtub /baby bath so you need to improvise

Had a great experience in beautiful Budapest. The property is ideally located very close to everything only a 5 minute walk to the Danube and the Elizabeth bride across to Pest. Giovanni provided an excellent introduction to the property and was very helpful in arranging a taxi back to the airport for us. The only negative was that the building as a whole was a bit tired even though the apartment itself has been completely remodeled and is in excellent condition.

We enjoyed this condo near 2 metro lines in the heart of Budapest. The best amenities were the amount of space for a 1bed, 1bath condo in an older building, as well as the location and the shower. Some things we were a bit disappointed with were: 1) very little counter space in the bathroom; 2) lack of air movement in the bedroom. The air conditioner is in the lounge space and mostly did not make it to the bedroom. 3) although there is a no smoking sign on the front door to the building, and the owners ensured their guests are non-smoking, there was second-hand smoke that made its way into the bedroom each night. It disrupted my sleep the first 4 nites until I gave up and moved to the futon in the lounge, where it was cooler, too. Landlord said he could not fix that. 4) out of the landlord’s control was all the construction going on both just outside the building on the street as well as in the interior common courtyard. Noisy and a bit inconvenient. Also the water was turned off for a portion of one day. And there was maintenance on one of the Metro lines on the weekend which caused us confusion and rerouting those days. We still recommend your considering this condo along with others of a similar price and location. Would we rent this unit again? Not sure...

Great location, convenient to many of nice areas and mass transit. Apartment was very nice, comfortable, and clean. Check in was easy and smooth, no problems at all. Air conditioning provided great relief on hot days. All in all a very nice stay.

We enjoyed our stay in the two apartments we rented for 8 people for six nights The apartments are lovely, spacious and very clean. There is a well-equipped kitchen with complimentary coffee. Both the dishwasher and the washer were very user-friendly. The location is excellent: this beautiful building is located on the Pest side, only a few minutes walk away from the Nagyvasarcsarnok, Vorosmarty Ter, Deak Ter. Erzsebet-hid and Ferenciek Tere subway station are around the corner. It is about 10 minutes away from Szent Istvan Bazilika,, about 20 minutes from Lanchid and 30 from the Parlament. We will be sure to return to Dreher Palace again in the future, but in the interim will highly recommend it to anyone interested. The entrance to the building is a bit tired and there were roadworks outside but the apartment was beautiful and with the design of the building looking into an internal courtyard it was so quiet and peaceful inside. The location is very close to the most famous Street in Budapest and it is an easy walk down to the Danube. E thoroughly enjoyed our stay here although it seemed to go much more quickly than six nights.

This apartment located near the Elizabeth bridge was perfect in location. The interior of the apartment was decorated and furnished very nicely. Luca, our landlord was very attentive and was just completing the renovation of the interior courtyard. When finished it was stunning. The apartment was very quiet with windows opening on to the walkway and courtyard. We spent a month in the apartment while using it as a hub to explore and enjoy the areas of Buda and Pest. It was perfect and we felt it was one of the best locations we have ever stayed in. Thank you Luca for being so helpful. Future guests should visit Margaret Island. It will bring joy to your hearts.

We selected this apartment because it had 2 bedrooms and aircon. Unfortunately there is only 1 bedroom and the aircon is in the living room only. The second ‘bedroom’ is actually the living room. The apartment is clean, modern and well equipped. The hosts are lovely and very helpful. I would definitely recommend the apartment but for 2 people, I’m not sure how you could comfortably sleep 5.

Great location. WALK EVERYWHERE! Aldi is across the street for whatever you need. Comfortable, clean apartment. Luca was a terrific host/manager and was very thorough starting with the checking in, arranging the cab to and from the airport and giving us the does and don't of Budapest he was on top of it all.

We were very pleased with our stay. The location was very convenient to everything. The metro and bus lines were only a short walk away from the apartment. Many restaurants are within a short walk. Ruben's did not disappoint!! The apartment was a good blend of modern convenience with traditional styling. Although you really don't need it in Budapest, the security was very good. Luca was very helpful in arranging taxi service and general helpful information. Our 5 week vacation felt like home away from home...we would definitely stay here again!!

The apartment was excellent as was the location. It was near a subway but honestly everything I did was within walking distance, as long you like to walk. The check in was very convenient and they met my needs even when things changed. The apartment was updated and I did not have any issues. The bed was very comfortable.

Conveniently central but surprisingly quiet apartment in a residential block with central courtyard. Lovely architecture and well-equipped modern flat. Owner particularly helpful in arranging airport transfers and advising on facilities and attractions. Highly recommended.

My fiancé and I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay in Budapest! The location was within walking distance of everything. The apartment was completely updated and modern with all the furnishings you need for a comfortable stay. Luca was extremely accommodating and helpful with directions, places to eat, pickup from the train station and drop off at the airport. He always responded within minutes. Great apartment in the perfect location. The apartment is larger than even the pictures show. Everything looks new, modern, and works well - a large shower and bathroom, a new dishwasher and washing machine, a comfortable king-size bed, plenty of storage space, a well-equipped kitchen with an espresso machine and an Americano coffee maker, strong WiFi and a television that is easy to work. The elevator works well and can hold four people. The windows face into a quiet courtyard. Luca, one of the owners, was so helpful. He spent a long time with us telling us about the apartment, Budapest in general, nearby restaurants, and even walked us to a secure ATM machine. Luca also made sure our transportation to the airport was on time by meeting the driver at the apartment before our departure. Luca was the most accommodating Owner we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. It was a true delight staying in this perfect apartment in the perfect location and meeting the perfect Owner, Luca.

The apartment was exactly as advertised. Large, modern, and well equipped for an extended stay. Luca, the manager was wonderful. Helpful in every way. He acquainted us with the apartment, a good nearby restaurant for our first dinner, and pointed us in the right direction for groceries, sundries, and money exchange, all within 2blocks of our apartment. (The airport exchange is a huge ripoff). However one block from the apartment was an excellent rate. We were 1 block from the metro, 3 blocks from the trolley and the Danube. And it was great to know that Luca could be reached 24/7 on his phone for any questions or problems. I dealt with Stefano when making the rental arrangements, very accommodating, but it was Luca who was our lifeline while we enjoyed Budapest. This is the only place I would consider staying when returning to the most lovely Budapest!

Wonderful, comfortable apartment. Close to everything you must see in Budapest: minutes from the Great Synagogue, boat tours, Elizabeth bridge to Buda. Elevator, full kitchen, washing machine, air conditioner, cozy bedroom, huge shower - everything and more that you need in a home away from home.
