the pet friendly room had fake wood flooring instead of carpet which is a much better choice for pet cleanup.

Hallway was noisy and could be heard in the room.

We slept through breakfast. I'm sure it was lovely.

The only thing that we experienced that was a little concerning was that the housekeeping staff tried to enter our room while we were all still sleeping. It wasn't check out time yet, so we were a little startled. We had bolted the door, though, so they didn't make it into the room.

Breakfast was good. could have been stocked better but was restocked after we pointed out shortages. Really enjoyed our evening meal at the steak house attached to facility. was nice to get such a quality steak without having to leave the facility.

The manager was nice, Larry, a clerk was a grumpy rude old man. We were first put in a room that reeked of smoke, but moved to another room. THe only parking space for handicapped with a ramp to help bring in bags was under a tree. In the am we came to the car, and it was COVERED by bird droppings. COVERED. We stopped several places in town, the welcome center, gas station, two car washes and the museum, and EVERYONE laughed at us and said, You stayed at the Comfort INN last night!. I asked them to pay for a car wash, she gave me $10/00, I had to run it thru twice, which cost me 24.00 and spent 30 minutes cleaning gooey excrement that continued to run down from the crevices around windows and doors., I am home now,ran it thru a decent car wash at home, and dried excrement is still coming out. This was disgusting, and apparently well known thruout the entire town. It cost me time, effort, and was a horrible inconvenience, and caused me to be late for our arrival in Denver. THIS needs to be rectified for future guests, and my stay should at least be reimbursed,. Your motel is a laughing stock in Colby.

Bird excrement literally covering my entire car, which I had just had washed and detailed for the trip. People at every stop laughed and knew that we had stayed at the Comfort Inn. It was a horrible experience.

Outside building needed cleaned. A little TLC as far as running a blower would give a better feeling about the whole property. First impression from walking from car to lobby should be clean sidewalks and curbing
