Had a lil updating but not to serious

location was great there is a super Italian rest just next door the food was amazing and service extremely friendly

the outside to the building it was full of cigarette all over No ashtray I took picture because I cannot believe in today 2023 there is such PIG that leave there cigarette like that the world is NOT YOUR Ashtray !!!

The power blow out when I was trying to dry my hair 3 times. Also the beds are really hard and also. We needed more pillows only had one pillow each for 4 people we asked for 4 more and they only had 2

perfect location

3 nites 3,4,5, Oct 2022. One storey. No stairs. Got a smoking Rm by mistake, switched. Window opens for fresh air. No screen...flies & spiders enter. AC /heater unit worked OK. Bathrom well-lit, non-skid in tub bottom, but no shower grab-bars, noisey bathroom fan on light switch. Good grab-bars at toilet. Spiders in bathroom. Bedroom illumination poor, dim, no desk-lamp, wall lamp over TV bad. Bed lamp dim. Obsolete dim inefficient bulbs used. You should have a good flashlight. A-C power plug hard to find. Small fridge set too high. Froze juice. Beer exploded. Housekeeping staff helpful re fridge & lamps. One "Accessible" Rm in motel. Good restaurants short drive.

Room was spacious and very clean. The bed was surprisingly hard, not sure if it’s one of those memory foam types. However terrific night’s sleep! very convenient location. Pleasantly surprised, frankly was not sure what to expect with an Econolodge.

We paid the same amount for beachfront property in Virginia Beach. Pet fee $15/nt extra. However, I guess it’s an issue of supply and demand. Front desk gentleman in the evening was very polite. Front desk woman in the morning nice, but rather bossy. I walked in with my dog to ask a quick question and was stopped in my tracks by her saying that someone had allergies and I couldn’t bring my dog in. OK you advertise dog friendly……

There was brand new air conditioning in the room. Beds were upgraded and comfortable. The location of the motel was in close proximity to the event location, shopping and there was food delivery available.

What didn't I like? Everything else. The room was a smoking room, I was told via email that they didn't have smoking rooms. My room smelled horrible. I asked for new bedding, wasn't provided new bedding. The manager did provide the ionization machine to get the smell out of the room, but I am highly sensitive. I had to double up on my allergy meds all weekend. Was told I would get a room spray. Not provided. I got my own. I removed the bedding from the room and was screamed at by house keeping. My friends reservations were messed up even worse. They booked rooms for people with mobility issues, no mention of a second floor on the website. Were given a 'non' smoking room that was on the 2nd floor. This room had bedding with cigarette burns, burns on the toilet and the roof below the window was littered with cigarettes. BOTH soda machines were not functioning. I was told that the email I received about the hotel being ALL NON SMOKING now had not come from the property but booking.com. The email my friends received confirming a handicap accessible room was also supposedly not from the hotel but a booking agent. THEY also made a phone call to confirm earlier in the WEEK! BE WARE this motel will use every excuse and blame booking agents and the main econo lodge website for giving false information.

Within 15 min of were I needed to be. Was perfect for what I needed. I've stayed here before.

Traveled with 2 dogs...liked that room opened to outside...first floor access...easy access.

Location was ok and we liked the picture of the USA license plates that was in our room.

No Breakfast, terrible cleaning , back of bathroom door gross. floor by refrigerator gross. Chairs stained gross. head board not cleaned in ling time.

Paid about 100, was ok but had much better places for less. We were afraid of insects in the room but did not see any.

we always stayed here when we worked in the area. noticed the last few times it has really gone down hill. first few times, the front desk lady was rude but was nice now, but this time really just changed my mind to stay there for a week in the future... i will go elsewhere from now on. The room was so cold and damp but if you turned the air off it smelled so bad like mildew, drain flies in sink were horrible, toilet backed up twice, didn’t have clean towels when asked… which is shocking because they always provided us with them. Our clothes were Rt and damp so trying to get comfortable and yet ready for the day was frustrating but managed as we used a hair dryer to dry our clothes. So we made the best of it and we worked the last day… came to room, beds were so wet from moisture so we packed up at midnight and drove home two hours to have a good night sleep. I’m surprised that this was the way it was considering we have stayed there many times.

Right in the main road. Great little restaurant right on property.

I wish there had been coffee in the room.

Location was very central to all the places we wanted to visit.

We would have enjoyed hot tea and coffee throughout the day, instead of just at (7:00 to 10:00).
