It was quiet and pet friendly

I had to pay an unexpected $100 deposit which I was not informed of. The room was not very clean and roaches would be on the nightstands and floor and even on the bed. As soon as you shut the lights off. So gross I slept with my booklight on just to keep them away. I even put a towel against the HUGE gap under the door and sprayed hair spray (all I could think of. They still got in. I would not stay there again. I told them I booked through booking.com and there was no mention of a deposit. The staff were so rude I was appalled. The phone in my room did not work so I had to walk to the front to tell the rudest man ever about it and he said maintenance would bring a replacement. NEVER SAW A REPLACEMENT. So.... No wake up calls, no towels, nothing unless I went to the front which wasn't close to my room and have my two doggies in tow if I needed anything. Like i said NEVER AGAIN. EVER!!! Whoever worked on Aug 14-16th should be FIRED. Or just let him sit there and pretend to hear anything you say because nothing was done. Fire him. I forgot his name but he was there my whole stay. Lucky me.

Clean, contemporary facilities, excellent location, good-quality morning coffee, pleasant, large pool.

I had no problems

The room was clean; the linens as well (more on that below). We welcomed the fact that there was a refrigerator, but was a little surprised that it wasn't plugged in, which we didn't immediately notice, no big deal. The bed was reasonable comfortable.

Frankly, the "free wifi" was terrible. Signal was week, it would disappear altogether, requiring us to re-submit our acceptance of terms, dropped packets.... We did speak to the staff, who suggested another wifi, but it had the same problems. It would be better if wifi wasn't advertised. Speaking of advertising, on booking.com, the room was advertised "breakfast included"... when we got there, a big sign said that breakfast was no longer being offered. Felt a little bit like bait and switch (there was coffee, however). Also, at the time of this writing (end of March 2024), the towels (clean, to be clear) are close to threadbare and should (will ?) be changed. Also, we had to put baking soda in the fridge to eliminate the smell.

Room was very clean and quiet. Plenty of parking. The shower was excellent. Appreciated the microwave and mini-frig in the room.
