Location and lobby

All rooms are pet rooms since people sneak pets in and management and staff do not respond to being told there’s dogs barking in rooms that shouldn’t have pets. The rooms smell like dog. We were moved after our child was but up by bugs in the room. And the new room also smelled like dog. And there was a dog barking a few doors down from us. We told staff who were cleaning and they did not care. They just asked if the barking bothered us. People with allergies to pets, and people who expect to be put in rooms where pets are not allowed, will not be put in pet free rooms.

Once again, my stay was very pleasant. The staff is professional yet friendly, accommodating and courteous. The Continental breakfast offered a variety of items and that staff was excellent at keeping the items stocked. The location is quiet with beautiful landscaping and is easy to reach Colonial Williamsburg.

The only things that could be better are little things like the elevators that are reduced to just one at each wing and the air conditioning throughout the building was not consistent.

Confusing where to park

The wifi signal was extremely poor.

Conveniently located at the Williamsburg Visitor Center who provided shuttle service to Williamsburg. the breakfast was delicious and had nice selection. Rooms were clean. Entire staff was friendly and helpful.

The beds were not super comfortable.

Breakfast. The pre-made breakfast burritos are dreadful; the rest is blah (including the coffee). Bathroom: insufficient light in the tub. Property in general: very pretty but it is too difficult to find your way from parking to room after the limited parking closest to the room is filled up. "Charging station": I have an EV. Web site silent on availability of charging for cars. Front desk did not understand my question about availability of charging, and when the desk clerk finally understood he provided very vague directions - such that I had to call the desk the next day to get specific directions. When I finally found the site (barely marked), I could not use it as I had not brought my own cable/connector. I would have appreciated the web site advising that while outlets are available guests must bring their own cables/connectors.
