The location was great for walking around the shopping area! The soaps and lotions smelled delightful and were big enough for the whole family to get showers! Beds were comfortable and pillows were plush! I LOVED that the room didn’t have carpet!!

The room we stayed in was right outside the employee break area and people (guests or otherwise) smoked within smelling distance to the room. The breeze way reeked of fish. The door latch didn’t line up with the plate so in order to unlock or lock the door you had to adjust the door. The garbage can inside the room was miniature. I tried to locate a dumpster or larger disposal bin but I couldn’t find anything. For a family who is eating all their meals out, it was unsightly to look at a rubbish pile that continued to mound throughout the day. Unfortunately we visited while the front office was being renovated… seemed a little cumbersome but not entirely inconvenient.

Great location. It was clean, roomy and had a nice kitchen area.

I liked the low entry shower, but it could have been a little wider. It was hard to move around in the shower without the curtain going out and water going everywhere. The mattress wasn’t as comfortable as I remember the last time we stayed.

Conveniently located and clean

The room we booked was nothing like the picture of the room or description in the booking. The room was crowded and hard to move around in. The ADA room was not available, so I was going by the room picture and description to pick another room that would be roomy enough to accommodate a person in a wheelchair and one who used a walker. The picture also showed a low entry shower. Ours had a tub and a very tight bathroom. I even called the property 5 days before our stay to confirm that our room was the larger room with low entry shower. Even after we arrived we spoke with the management about the situation and they weren’t able to make any changes. I will never stay here again. I feel like although it is a nice place it isn’t very assessable place for those with disabilities, and I was very upset that what was pictured and described wasn’t even close to what I got.

The fridge made an awful sound all night. Also, the window didn't open.and it didn't have air conditioning, so it was very warm even with the fan on.

I am not exaggerating when I say this is the BEST and most amazing place my husband and I have ever experienced for a stay away from home. We felt SO comfortable and at peace with our stay. The room was gorgeous and clean and up to date and tidy and literally everything you could think of, was there for us. We would never want to stay anywhere else when we are near the area...

The slow internet

No AC and the fan that was available was very weak. Our room was too far from check in office, we had to drive down the street. Upon arrival, getting into the room was troublesome bc of the lock mechanism. The construction going on next door was loud in the morning.

The beds were super comfortable and the place was huge! It was very clean and there was a TV in every room. It was like staying in an apartment right by the water it was amazing! And we were right next to all of the great shopping in long beach!

Great location--the motel is on the main drag so you're steps from coffee, food, and shops.

The walls are paper thin--you can literally hear the person in the next room sneeze, snore, and talk. If you're a light sleeper, or don't want your business to be everyone's business (or have to hear your neighbor's business), you may want to pass on this place. The wifi was incredibly slow, and at one point it went down entirely for the day, so we had no service and it affected the keypad door locks, so we were locked out of our room. The internet issue wasn't the fault of the property owners, but they should have proactively alerted guests.

I like that the room was updated to modern style. I liked how we were not too far of a walk from the shops in town ans the beach.

Well, for starters, no one communicated about how the office was at a different location. Communication is important with your guests. Our little room was right off of the street, the road noise was loud, and people were loud, just standing and talking and laughing. It was annoying to constantly listen to. Our pillow cases and top blanket were dirty and had stains. The bathroom had toilet paper bits on the floor and was dirty. We couldn't find the lights witch to the big light on the ceiling. The bed nearly broke my back and was extremely uncomfortable. This place was overpriced for one single night. We paid more for a king, thinking that we would not be next to the street. Very disappointed in our stay.

It was not clean. Found a wad of dark brown hair on the counter in the kitchen no less. I'm blonde and my hubby is bald. Really gross. They didn't explain how the door worked and we've never used that type before. Had to have an employee come over, it was frustrating but she was very nice! AC didn't work. Tv again no instructions. Teeny love seat and small accent chair. That's it. I And they were both very uncomfortable to sit on. Again a teeny table in the kitchen. The one bedroom we had was a lot of wasted space.

the pictures r tru, the outside is a lie. They r doing renos and I'm assuming they'll raise rates after but rooms all have brand new floors and furniture and beds, smart TV etc. Was clean, nice staff, walking location, definitely worth for the price loved the wall signs, especially the "beware of octopus" on top of the toilet XD

no phone in room (not that we ever use one anyway outside of contacting FD) and no front desk on site, as they say in email due to renos nothing else rly but just some notes for the hotel: We stayed in A8 Floors definitely need a rug, probably two, doesn't need to be big or fluffy, can b a matt rug. Its just super empty looking (is prob on the to do list but just in case) Our room was missing a bug screen on the window bedding blanket was definitely summer mode, something thincker would be nice come cold season

I love how close everything is!! Even the beach! Best value for sure! Definitely cozy, and the bed was pretty comfortable! Can't complain at all!

My room had a unlocked door attached to the wall! Which had a table with a lamp in front of it seems shady not complaining but it did lit up the room up at night since there was light coming from under the door!

The room was clean and the bed comfortable.

There was no notice that the reception area was being renovated and you had to go to a different site to check in. I was finally able to check in by phone but should have been notified.
