The Inn overall is very charming and I loved the wrap around porch. My room was lovely though my understanding from my booking was that I had booked a room with a fireplace.

I was surprised that there was not any general lounge area to sit and read or send some emails. This was disappointing as it was one of the reasons I booked there.

The location is excellent -unbeatable, the facility overall is very nice.

The mini-split A/C in the room made a loud water gurgling sound 80% of the time, including all night long. The mini-split did not cool the room when it was above 79 degrees outside - so it got very hot in the room at times.

The staff was wonderful! We were well attended to. The dining was exceptional! Inn was close to attractions. Would go back in a heartbeat. Was a great getaway.

The staff was so helpful and friendly. I like the room's champagne welcome and complimentary snacks and drinks. Sitting on the porch for meals or just having a drink and reading and journaling was very relaxing. It was so quiet to sleep.

There was too much air freshener fragrance in the room for our liking.

There’s nowhere better to stay in the Boston area. Complimentary continental buffet breakfast. Snacks and coffee in room. Being greeted with a glass of champagne upon arrival. Gorgeous rooms, quiet location, windows that open, absolutely clean.

Beautifully restored buildings and well decorated rooms. Wonderful room amenities and comfortable beds. Staff is very friendly and welcoming.

The building we stayed in can only have either AC or heating turned on. Since we stayed in April it was cold at night but heated up during the day, so it was hard to control the room temperature if either AC or heat was unavailable. There was a small metal trash can outside the front door of our building which was overflowing and never seen to while we were there.

Check-in was efficient. Nancy gave us a quick rundown of the property and escorted us to our room. Felt safe inside with the hotel’s COVID safety protocols. We enjoyed the room, although it wasn’t large, the layout makes the room feel spacious. Every space was used well. There’s a Smeg fridge with complimentary soda and sparkling water. Snacks were also provided. Minor quibble: pillows could be fuller. They were a bit flat. Complimentary continental breakfast was exceptional. You can also order hot meals at additional cost, but we found the continental breakfast to be sufficient. The pastries were great, and scones were so good, perfectly moist and tender on the inside and delightfully crispy on the edges. The yogurt, fruit compote, and granola are excellent. Coffee and tea were also included. Location can’t be beat. It’s close to many attractions: Battle Green - walking distance Concord - 10-minute drive Minuteman Park - 3-minute drive Staff made the effort that showed that they’re passionate about giving guests excellent service. They’re very helpful, but not intrusive.

Overall good experience but the dining experience needs to be improved. The continental breakfast included in room price only has a few limited options. While additional breakfast options are available a la carte, this is lacking comparing to luxury inns in the same category which typically include full breakfast. Restaurant service is also average and should be improved.
