The location and the fact that it’s dog friendly.

The building just isn’t that nice. Has a very old unfinished feel. The 50 dollar per fee is too much for this property.

It was amazing, love the art. The rooms were large and well appointed, amazing.

Our room was not vacuumed and we did not have hand towels or a bath mat. The woman at the front desk was more preoccupied with her laptop than with greeting us or asking how our stay was going.

Location perfect - really central. Very cool place to stay.

The espresso machine was broken! (I am an espresso nut) Service was a little bit slow.

The location of this property is great! The staff was amazing. The rooms were big!

When I picked something up off the ground, I noticed the floors didn’t seem like they had been swept in a while. Valet parking being the only option. Only one elevator worked and it was VERY slow. Rumor has it the elevators have been out of order since February?

That I came to see a particular sculpture in advertising photos and it wasn’t there anymore😫 and the expresso machine in the room, I prefer a full cup of cup in the am!

The breakfast was delicious although the portions were too large for us to finish. Also enjoyed the playlist at breakfast which was curated by the Chef!

Love old buildings turned into hotels and boutique hotels! this was an interesting property with the art.

There are no refrigerators and you have to request ice. Finding the hotel is hard. You have to recognize the funky font used to spell out “21c” and recognize the blue penguins to find the place. It’s in the old First National Building (name prominent on front). it would be helpful if these were used on email confirmations or somewhere so they would be recognized.

I arrived at midnight . Was given Room 507. I arrived, opened the door to the loud roar the the air conditioner machinery. I knew I would be unable to sleep with that volume . I went back to the receptionist stating I was not satisfied with that room, only to be told the hotel was full . I was in this hotel and had this room for two nights with the constant switching in and out of this faulty machinery. The janitor did appear and shone his torch up at the outlet, nothing further was done to alleviate the situation. This is the first complaining review I have ever written. I was so disappointed to be in a 4 star hotel and to have sleepless nights because of the noise.
