This was definitely a stay to remember! The Lodge is a beautiful house with lovely rooms and a spectacular lounge with an amazing view. The Hotel owner took me out to feed the elks and view some bisons - it was a full experience which I'll never forget. Extremely helpful and friendly staff - I can strongly recommend this place!

No TV in the room, but it is a hunting lodge.

Wonderful lodge! We were off season so very peaceful and quiet. Near Calamus Reservoir Lake. Emily made amazing country breakfasts every morning.

I was concerned but found the gravel road well maintained and Emily gave me easy to follow directions. Thanks for the lights at the end of the driveway. The lodge was clean and just lovely. Breakfast was delicious! Stella and I really enjoyed our stay.

We wished we had another day to stay longer. Definitely plan for a minimum two day stay so you can go on the tours, go tanking, enjoy the scenery and relax at the lodge.

The breakfast was great, and the coffee too. Emily was very helpful with any questions we had. The views outside our room on the deck were breathtaking. We got to see the white Buffalo roaming outside, just sitting off the deck!!

Nothing, everything exceeded our expectations

We arrived mid afternoon and everything was ready - the quiet and peace was wonderful, esp. after a stressful day of driving. We were able to go up on the balcony & take pictures of the rolling hills. But the best part, for me, was sitting outside and listening to birds chirping and maybe a cow or two. It has a group of bison = both the usual black/brown ones and white buffalo [I'd never seen one] and I'm sure kids would enjoy that.

Air conditioning was on [understandably] but really cold - I closed the 3 vents in the room and that helped a lot.
