we spent 5 incredible nights at the island house hotel. incredible staff, stunning pool and rooms. i loved the workout classes. the private beach is easily one of the best beaches we’ve been to. the overall vibe is relaxed and low key which was perfect for our family holiday. we can’t wait to come back!

loved this hotel and the restaurants on the property! the vibe was intimate and cozy. the private beach (a five minute car ride from the hotel) was gorgeous! would recommend this hotel.

the hotel’s location isn’t ideal if you’re looking to be close to the resorts strip or downtown Nassau.

Staff and room comfortable.

Beach club: there were no chairs and umbrellas available for everyone, this is not an expected service in a hotel like this and at this rate.

We loved the beach at the Old Fort Bay!

Lovely room, spacious with balcony Good restaurants. Shima and Mogano especially. Excellent food shop with ready made salads on property Nice pool Friendly staff Liked the London cab service to the beach. very cute.

On the flight path. Planes going over the pool every 3 minutes, combined with hotel music played everywhere, including the pool from early morning til the evening. I was told they could lower the volume but not switch it off as it was controlled off-site. The music was not at all relaxing around the pool and often clashed with different music at the YellowBell. No mini-bar or fridge in the room. no kettle. I requested them and received them but fridge very noisy and kept switching off. Breakfast restaurant kept running out of supplies. Gluten free and heart friendly alternatives should be available. Ordered a hotel transfer to collect me but did not arrive. Had to make other arrangements upon arrival at the airport.

The Island House was the perfect getaway for our family of three. Everyone was so helpful and everything you needed was right on the facility. An extra bonus was a kids easter egg hunt (which included neighbors outside of the facility) and a farmers market.

That I had to leave!

Access to the Old Fort Bay beach club, reached by frequent shuttle. Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff in both the hotel and the beach club. The hotel was immaculate, couldn’t fault it.

At the west end away from the Atlantis crowd and craziness. Grounds are beautiful,, pool relaxed and not busy. No thumping loud music. Nice yoga studio and facilities. Shout out to Kent and all the staff at the IH. All were so friendly. Just a relaxing vibe. Enjoyed the London taxi ride to Old Fort Bay and the exquisite private beach.

Nothing! Other than I wish we could of stayed longer.
