My stay at Fonda Monserrat was a sincere and absolute 10, in all aspects. The staff responded to a question that I had had before arrival professionally and right away. When I arrived, the owner was very welcoming and polite, and although I had booked a single room with shared bathroom, she gave me an upgraded room with private bathroom that was free at that time, which I really appreciated. But my most positive review is not just thanks to that; the owners and all the staff (my regards and thanks to the cleaner as well, who was there to take care of the room every day) were kind, professional and so pleasant to communicate with and provided any assistance I might needed from the first until the last minute of my stay there. Downstairs there is their restaurant offering great Spanish dishes and vine, served again by very kind staff. I'll surely be back there soon enough. In the meantime, I wish them success and wellbeing. It was a pleasure.

I wish I could have stayed longer.

Both owners and all their staff there are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Excellent location. I like that there’s a possibility to have breakfast and lunch there. The food is delicious and at a good price. It’s quiet at night. Everything there is done correctly. Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in without a doubt. Better than some of the hotels around the same area too.

It was a last minute booking and we are very happy with our experience. The staff is very kind and helpful We received a message with instructions for a self-check in and got contacted regarding forgotten stuff in the room. We recommend this place with both hands!

Nothing, a really dejected hotel

No heating in lobby or coridoors gives a poor impression, property always felt damp. No restaurant on a Monday and no alternatives offered other than a walk into town No glasses cups in rooms and after 2000 hrs no way of obtaining as all doors locked. Bathroom is a joke and a real struggle to enter shower. Overall a tired hotel If you have an alternative choice go elsewhere.

Shower wasnt clean. Sink was dirty with toothpaste from previous customer. Fridge wasnt working and smelled like rotten food.

difficult to find a parking spot, but it was 1am. once found car safe and short walk to hotel
