My very first time in Scotland and we wanted to be in the heart of Old Town to experience it all. This apartment was the perfect location making everything very walkable. The place was nice and clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and we just absolutely loved it! It was great being able to open the windows for fresh air and look out over the Royal Mile taking in all that the city has to offer. Paul was a great host and I’d definitely stay here again. -Stephen

Great spot! Paul was great to work with. The unit is very well appointed and right in the middle of everything on the Royal Mile. Really enjoyed The Tattoo and Fringe Fest, could walk to everything! We will be back!

Such a nice property that is so enjoyable and has all that is needed. Paul was a great host and very helpful. Able to enjoy the antics on the street outside and still have the ability to sit back and enjoy a scotch.

This is a great place to stay in the heart of the Royal Mile and plenty of space for a family of 5. Apartment was very clean and lots of great places to walk to eat and drink.

This apartment was perfect for my family of four! Spacious and clean. Paul and Chris were very helpful on many fronts! Also, all our tours met just a couple of feet from our front door! There is also a great pub just down the steps from the apartment. Really everything is right out the front door, but at the same time it is quiet. Also, you are just steps away from Edinburgh Castle! Don’t rent a car during your stay here. You don’t need it! Paul thank you so much for all your help! Folks this is the best place to rent for your vacation in this great city!

We rented the apartment on the royal mile, and had an amazing time. The apartment is unique and beautiful, and has everything you could need for a stay. Paul was so communicative and helpful, and we lacked for nothing. This will be our home base in Edinburgh next time as well. Thank you for everything!

Extremely convenient, the apartment is located in the heart of the city, very close to the castle. There are plenty of restaurants, pubs and grocery stores close by. The apartment was a very comfortable size for our family of 4 including 2 full bathrooms (with showers), a small but very functional kitchen, a reasonably sized living/dining room that never felt cramped and 2 separate bedrooms. The old stone walls provided some splendid character. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Really enjoyed the apartment..very cute and modern...lovely bathrooms... cannot beat the location situated on the royal Mile....the wood flooring in the bathrooms would look great all through the apartment... Would definitely recommend this place...

This property is fantastic -- tucked into a close, up an ancient curved staircase, and with huge views exploding onto the top of the Royal Mile. We loved our stay here. Old Edinburgh is at your doorstep, with all its cobbled charms. Restaurants are a breeze. Getting into the New Town is a cinch if you follow the close down the hill. The physical space is charming and comfortable and spacious. And check-in and check-out were seamless. We will absolutely rent this apartment again when we return to Edinburgh!

If you want to spend time on the Royal Mile, old towne Edinburgh this is the place for you. It is in the heart of everything on the Royal Mile. Wonderful space with that old town feeling! We brought our children (13 and 15) and they loved everything about the experience as well.

Paul’s place is terrific - great location and has everything you need for a short stay. It’s right down the hill from the castle and has many restaurants and shops right outside.

Fro the past few months, we were in touch with the owner, Paul, and told him our flight from the US was cancelled and we could not visit Edinburgh. He is holding the deposit for us in hopes we will be able to visit sometime in the future.

Everything was perfect. The location puts you in the middle of everything, but that comes with some noise but it was bearable.
