Nice warm quite place

The private secluded property was a perfect zen night. Wendy was so sweet in soothing my worries, after we had had a bad experience the previous nights before. She went over and beyond in communication. The VRBO was cozy, clean, and warm. The walk to the beach was close and we as "big" kids played on the playground. (perfect sunset) My husband and I particularly loved the estuary trail and boardwalk that was within walking distance.
It is a recommended stay! The front and backyard gardens were an extra bonus.

We were there for one night, arriving late and leaving early. When we arrived, the heat pump was on and curtains drawn. So cosy on a wintry night. Comms with the owner was great and easy and we had everything we needed and more.

We stayed at Wendy and Andrew's bach over the Hawke's Bay marathon weekend and it was the perfect accommodation for us, not far from town or the start line, close to the beach, and extremely comfortable. We had an excellent sleep in the beds (which was awesome after running 22km/42km), and would definitely book here again! Wendy and Andrew were also very responsive which we really appreciated. Thank you both so much!

The location was great. We could walk along the sidewalk all the way into our favorite coffee stand with Ryan under the pink overhang and restaurants. The area was very quiet. The home was clean and comfortable.

We were doing a road trip around the island so we only had a day at this location, but would have loved to stay longer. Wendy and Andrew were very gracious hosts, allowing us a late check out while we let our clothes dry in the courtyard and got breakfast. The house was very lovely, we enjoyed our stay immensely

Was a great little house, we had a neat weekend with our granddaughter. Great location just down from beach and park and also close to town and restuarants.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the location for the beach and the nearby bars and restaurants at the marina was fantastic. Napier CBD easily accessible from the bus stop just round the corner. The property was clean, comfortable and would suit a group of friends or a family. Will definitely stay again.

Clean close to beach .Good beds quick washing machine. The tiolet did have a lot of dust at the bottom and the skirting boards in bathroom did to. Everything elso great

Enjoyed staying here. Very quiet area with great playground and a short walk to the beach. Bike tracks start right besides the property wich was very convenient. Property is packed with all the necessities. Were surprised to find a mixer among other things, so made ourselves pancakes for breakfast.

Perfect cozy holiday home full of charm, nice quiet location with easy access to walking/cycling paths (need a car to access central Napier and groceries). Clean and well equipped. Perfect as our base during a sporting festival held in Napier. Lovely hosts with great communication. Highly recommend!

Lovely quiet private peaceful home. Has everything you need. Great shower, comfortable beds. 1 min walk to the beach, the only negative thing I can say is a few stains on the lounge carpet.
Although we didn't meet Wendy & Andrew they were very communicative via email.
We would certainly use this cottage again and recommend to friends.

Perfect for our weekend away, clean and comfortable, everything we needed on hand and a fantastic location, gorgous little sheltered courtyards front and back with seating to enjoy the sun, really close to the ocean and Comfort Inn Westshore Beach pub where we had a lovely meal.

We stopped at this gem in winter. Wendy and Andrew warmed the place up before our arrival. The beach was beautiful and so close to the property. The internet and cable tv was great. They had almost everything you might need.
