Clean, comfortable and close to the water which was our main reason for being in the island.
Pillows! There was one in the room that was comfortable enough to sleep on but all the rest were too large and overstuffed - neck ache territory. This is literally my only complaint about the stay however so overall it was a fantastic experience.

Very clean and spacious rooms that were very comfortable - especially the bed! The staff and the Dive instructors at B&J (Dive Resort & B&J work together) were really great and it was fun staying here! Diving was also great.
Internet in the rooms wasn’t great.
The accommodation was super nice - it was just really not the cheapest (for budget travelers) but yet the most comfortable and best option!

It's a great place for diving enthusiasts. Nice facilities and certified instructors are available for experiencing or learning diving or snorkeling. Also great opportunity to meet other divers from all over.
Stay facilities are very nice - clean and comfortable. Staff is very helpful and courteous.
Only difficulty we had was in finding good vegetarian food. Although the cafe tried to cater to our needs, it was just about manageable.

Big, clean and comfortable rooms, really friendly and helpful staff, nice areas to chill out and have a drink, love the location as it's away from the main town area and much quieter and more secluded. Many restaurants & convenience stores nearby. Although TDR is essentially listed as a place for scuba divers, it's also suitable for non-divers who just want a nice relaxing getaway. Five days felt too short, that's how nice it is!
The beachfront area here is very rocky and not suitable for any leisure beach activities, however, sandy beaches are within walking distance. Renting a bicycle for rm5 or moped for rm20 an hour is highly recommended to get around, especially if you want to visit the main town of Tekek, and there are numerous places providing this service in the area. Many local businesses have closed down due to the pandemic, but for some reason are still listed as "open" on Google maps.

Spacious and comfortable room with good facilities, including a fridge.
We enjoyed the sunset bar, but most of all the staff were friendly, skilled and generous with their time. the owners took time to chat to us and were really informative. Everyone working there is clearly passionate about diving. The dive shop was useful too.
Pretty excellent trip. Would just love a tea/coffee on the boat between dives! But this is minor, we have no complaints.

Laid back community, lovely people, nice beach, with restaurants around. Spacious rooms, good for families. Clean.
Poor sound proofing, dripping aircon. Most of the food choices are spicy. Stony coastline in some places.

1. The room is really spacious and 100% as seen in the picture/promo.
2. Very helpful and attentive staffs to ensure our stay is confortable.
3. Housekeeping staff were great.
4. Toilet was clean and the toiletteries were almost complete. Well perhaps disposable toothbrush/paste can be added in future.
5. Wifi was good at the reception n outside the room.
6. The water pressure was good n stable.
7. Lighting and air conditioner works perfectly.
No regret at all for choosing TDR though it was a last minute holiday planning. Lucky enough to get the room.
1. TV... Not working at all. Hope this facility can be improved in future.
2. Wifi (in room)... Bad connection. Just 1 or 0 reception. A step outside the room, i got fullbar for wifi. But lost it, once i enter the room. Please improve.

it’s well located. rooms are nice and clean. there are places to chill and has the only bar in the village. friendly owners and staff and near to cafes. a great dive centre fir seasoned divers and beginners
