From the moment we arrived, this river house was nothing short of magnificent. Everything was fresh, new and clean! For starters it's in a small gated area. It's a beautiful neighborhood that is quiet and safe. The home itself is spacious, open and nicely decorated. It was immaculate and very clean. It has a nice refined, beachy feel. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and features newer appliances. The bedrooms feature comfortable mattresses, bedding, Keurig, mini fridge and continue the beach feel. The home also features an elevator so people of all ages can enjoy the house and get around easily.We spent a lot of our time(mostly mornings) on the deck. The no-see-ums were out in force later in the day and deet was needed. We rented a pontoon boat for the day and enjoyed the river and bay.

This property is in an ideal location for visiting all the nearby wild and less wild areas - parks, beaches, lighthouses, historic locations, forests, rivers, islands, museums. So much to choose from. But it’s also a great place to chill..front porch on the river, dock to explore, sunset views…all you can ask for; plus the sleepy town of Carrabelle with its own charms. The house has everything you could ask for…plenty of room, lovely seaside decorations, well stocked kitchens (sharp knives!), lots of pots and pans and storage containers. Secure entry, elevator for heavy loads! Delightful property.

Golfing, beach, & shopping Beautiful home had everything we needed

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. The three king size bedrooms and on suites were perfect for three couples. Our Golden Retriever loved the big empty lot next to the property. The house was nicely decorated and the kitchen was thoughtfully stocked!

Beautiful views of the river, extremely comfortable, room to spread out, fully fitted kitchen, and very clean! No complaints and an abundance of compliments. Would not hesitate to stay here again when visiting family in the area.

Convenient to everything . House is stocked with everything you need . Owners are so quick to respond to any questions. We will always try to stay at this location every time we visit the area .

Our stay in Carabelle was spectacular. As an outside person, my favorite time was spent on the upper level patio overlooking the river. The home was very spacious with all the necessary amenities. Next time.in Carabelle, i will be looking up this property.

We enjoyed the river front boat and bird watching. The balcony was a great coffee spot and we ordered out at the seafood shack for a spectacular dining experience. This is the table number 1 at the best restaurant in town. Even the pizza to go from Sopchoppy Pizza tasted good here. We loved seeing the eclipse in Carrabelle! Loved all the food trucks in town.

We absolutely loved our stay at Anglers Harbor! Spacious, clean, great view, friendly neighbors, close to cute shops and relaxation. All 3 rooms have king beds and en-suite bathrooms, such a great find for our family. The kitchen is well stocked with just about every appliance you can think of. The elevator was a life saver for our bags and full days of walking! We appreciate you letting us relax and unwind in your little slice of paradise :)

Wonderful place for my family to vacation. House was great and fully stocked with everything we needed as we cooked quite a bit. Conveniently located to cities and beaches to explore both ways as well as fishing. Kids loved the pool and adults loved the porch with beautiful view. Owner was great and highly recommend.

Angler’s Retreat is a well appointed house, from kitchen equipment to beach towels. The bedding is comfortable, very hot water and all bedrooms are spacious, especially the master on the second floor. There are many wine glasses! Despite the rain, we enjoyed our stay. Our group included 6 adults and 1 child. Proximity to the pool is an asset and the elevator is a huge plus!

We extended my older daughters senior trip for a little family. Unfortunately our extended family wasnt able to make it leaving just my 2 daughters and myself. we thoroughly enjoyed the back porch spent most of our time sitting out talk and laughing. My youngest daughter really liked the elevator. Was set up very well. We all had king beds and enjoyed that. Would stay again.

This property was awesome! The house met all of our expectations. We had a wonderful family vacation and would definitely stay here again.

Overall this is a terrific property. The location is great and the view is beautiful. The property is clean and well maintained. The only problem we had was the ability to exit through the automated gate. We tried to communicate with the property manager about it but I think I failed to make my problem clear. After a couple of days we were able to talk with some others within the gated community about it and they told us the trick: drive to the far left when approaching the gate. That worked.

Very accommodated and spacious

This was our second time staying at this property and it is absolutely perfect for us. Close to river/ocean fishing, close to St. George Beach. The Fisherman's Wife is our favorite restaurant and the small town charm is unforgettable.

Great home in a natural, beautiful river setting. Close enough to Appalachicola, and St. George Island but out of the hustle and bustle. The Forgotten Coast's small town of Carrabelle was friendly and nostalgic remembering days gone by.

Beautiful place! We can’t wait to stay again next year! Convenient to so many other places! Looooooved this place!

I love this property and have stayed here at least three times. The views are great and the house and decor are gorgeous. I could not have asked for more!

Very nice place. Well stocked with items. Will stay again on next trip.

A few items that should be given attention. 1. Elevator worked from ground floor to top floor and from top to ground floor.. Call button on second floor seemed to have an electrical connection issue. Therefore couldn’t use elevator from second floor thus requiring luggage and other items to be carried to and from the second floor. 2. Second floor large bedroom . Handle on door to toilet room inside bedroom fell off and could not be put back on. We couldn’t get jacuzzi tub to function properly. 3. Oven thermostat seemed to be inaccurate.

The elevator was a great bonus for us as our Mother uses a walker.

The house was clean, comfortable and we felt safe in a gated community. Very nicely furnished and the elevator was wonderful. If you are allergic to air fresheners as I am you should call ahead, I'm sure they could be removed prior to your arrival.

Beautiful property Incredible well stocked kitchen

Even though we had to stay in a bit, that was not hard in this very nice beautifully decorated home. We enjoyed our stay and will be back in the home for a week in Oct. The family members that were not with us are really excited .about staying in a place and area we are familiar with. This will be our fourth trip to the area in 18 months.
