Really nice place with spacious garden in which your little semi-detached room/house is located, around the pool. Very calm and quiet at night. The food in the restaurant was excelent, especially for lunch and dinner. The nereby animals sanctunary is really nice place to stop for few hours. Avoid the restaurant next to the river, the view is great but the food isn't worth it,, the hotel restaurant has much better food

I wouldn't say i didn't like it, but in the evening there were at least 5 tiny frogs in the bathroom despite the closed outside door. I don't think they were poisonous, but i was worried i would step on one of them at night. My room was in the farthest part of the garden and it I was glad i took a torch when returning alone from dinner after dark.

the property is simply wonderful surround of nature and wild animals. the pool is beautiful and the place is full of peace

the prices at the restaurant are quite high

Loved the deer, agouti and monkeys freely roaming the property. Like an oasis once leaving the busy main road. We stayed two nights heading home via Guanacaste Airport. We were glad that we stayed two nights as location was perfect being next door to a river that provided rafting, which was excellent and on the other side of the hotel was the Puma Sanctuary, also worth a visit. Staff here are all very attentive and helpful. Altogether a great stay

The entire place and services. The hotel is located with easy access to the highway and rooms are in the middle of nature with deers and "guatuso" around walking freely. Room was spacious and clean. Food was amazing in amount, taste and value. Staff was really welcoming and nice and they were always ready to help. I traveled with my dog and having such a nice place for her to feel good adds value for me.

The only thing is that the room shares the wall with the other room so I could hear the other people on the room talking over the phone.

very low quality. not so clean. everything is very old. one towel actually ripped while use. the bed , beddings and pillows are lowest quality. room is not maintained . shower very old. we cannot believe we paid 100$ a night for this place !

Very quiet, nice deers on the property grounds, great pool. We had dinner and the food was excellent at reasonable prices. Staff was totally nice and accomodating.

It has a relatively big garden, living there a lot of animals, like deers, agoutis walking next to you:) The pool is large enough to have a refreshing swim in the morning, I loved it! The breakfast was delicious and filling.

The room was a bit 'old', but not disturbingly.

It seems to have once been a very lovely property but now it is is need of repairs .

The property is beautiful and there are plenty of animals around to spark interest. The rooms were basic, but clean. The outside area near our room could have used some table and chairs. The restaurant had great food and service.

The pool floor could have used some cleaning.

Good for overnight stop near Route 1 if travelling north or south. Nice grounds with deer and birds. Howler monkeys heard nearby. Rafting with restaurant 100 meters north. Nice large swimming pool. Nice dining area.

Rather muddy after a lot of rain around some of the bungalows and on the tracks. Bit noisy from the main road, but not a problem.

Pleasant staff. Large room with covered outdoor seating, good bed and bed linens, large bathroom, coffee maker, refrigerator. Pleasant dining room/ restaurant. Breakfast menu. Deer family visited in the grounds outside the room.

It is isolated from everywhere. You need transport.

Great location for a stopover on the way south from the airport. Lovely lodge with high ceilings in the middle of greenery and wild animals coming up to the veranda. Walked around the grounds in the morning and would have used the pool if we had been staying longer.

room was quite dark and the shower could have been a bit more powerful.

The grounds were beautiful and expansive and full of wildlife - in our one night there we saw deer, capybaras, iguanas, and howler monkeys! The staff were all friendly and helpful. We wished we’d stayed for more than one night!

Large grounds with rooms spread out across property. Nice to be able to stroll around and do a little birding.

Bed is pretty hard and uncomfortable.
