Lovely apartment with everything thought out so well. Very central with just 5 mins to beach and restaurants. Takes longer coming back due to the hill! Rory and Jane were so helpful with information before and after arrival which was really great and were eager to ensure we had a lovely holiday. The welcome pack was very generous too. We especially liked the private terrace. Definitely would recommend this apartment and thanks so much to our excellent hosts!

This was a great apartment. Very clean and well maintained. Great layout and spacious. Had all the necessary appliances and the utensils. Particularly liked the power juicer! Great location though a significant climb up from the village (but good exercise). Carvoiero is extremely quaint and picturesque. Lots of good restaurants. Great coastal walks. Rory and Jane are great hosts. Met us on arrival and provided valuable details about the apartment and local information. Would recommend to friends and hope to get back there soon.

Lovely apartment with everything you need to have a great holiday, within a short walking distance to the village centre. Nice clean swimming pools on the resort. Apartment owners are lovely and offered us a warm and genuine welcome. We will definitely be coming back here.

We stayed for 5 nights in this excellent apartment and really enjoyed our stay. It was spotlessly clean, really well equipped. and felt homely and comfortable. We loved the location. It's a short walk into the centre of Carvoeiro but in a very quiet area. The complex is well maintained and we swam in the heated communal pool which is a bonus in February. We would definitely recommend this apartment and hope to stay again in the future.

The apartment was well equipped. The owner provided a welcome pack of groceries to cover the first day(s) which was a thoughtful gesture. Beds were extremely comfortable and the bedroom(s) spacious. TV had all main european channels, UK, NL, German. The outside space was not very large, but the owner is intending to extend the terrace so that will be an added bonus. All in all a very pleasureable stay.

Brilliant stay. Fantastic and super friendly Rory and Jane welcomed us with a generous welcome pack of food. We devoured the wine after landing late! Carvoeiro itself is our latest favourite spot to base ourselves when in the Algarve. So totally convenient and a short walk from brilliant restaurants. We loved Taverne Portuguese and Gurkha Kitchen. A highly recommended stay and Rory is a true gentleman!

Accueil chaleureux de Rory le propriétaire . Mails avant et pendant le séjour rapides et précis . Merci encore pour le panier garni dans le réfrigérateur ( fort apprécié ). L’appartement est cosi propre et la literie de bonne qualitée ... l ‘ on s’y sent très bien , il est de plus bien situé à proximité de la ville , du marché , de la plage ( de très belles marches sur les falaises.)La terrasse est un grand plus (calme ). Nous recommanderons cet appartement dans notre entourage. Carvoeiro est une très belle découverte. Ville authentique. MERCI .

A very comfortable, well furnished and well equipped apartment, one of the best we have stayed in. Nice surroundings, especially the secluded terrace. A short but steep walk into town, good for fitness coming back up. A warm welcome from Rory and very useful supplies which kept us going for a while, no need to go out for breakfast the first morning. We had a very nice holiday, thanks very much!

Enjoyed a fantastic holiday and would definitely return. The apartment was as described, includes everything we needed for the 10 days and was being well located both on the complex and within the town. Very helpful owners who gave good advice pre-trip as well as taking the time to greet us on arrival. The welcome pack was brilliant saving a dash to the local super market and the blue guide folder really helped us get to know the area as well as choose destinations for each day of our stay. Rory and Jane put a lot of effort into making your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Locally we’d recommend Carvalho beach and if you fancy an ocean kayak tour of the caves. A great holiday. Excellent 1 week break, everything you could want including lots of food in the fridge! Been away to lots of places over the years , this is a good one!

The apartment was just what we needed in terms of size, equipment amenities and location. Clean and comfortable beds and proper furniture inside and out. All the rooms were of a good size The cooking facilities in the kitchen included a modern electric hob and oven plus microwave. There is a washing machine and dish washer. Air conditioning was essential and effective. A bonus was having Sky Sports Main Event with 4 UK terrestrial channels (1 to 4) on the TV. There were books to read and local information to help us familiarise with the locale It is in a nice quiet spot with pleasant views out front over the village and the rear terrace is cool and relaxing (as seen in the photo) The beach and village centre are within a few minutes walk (downhill), add a few minutes for the climb back up the hill. Good number of parking spaces Overall an apartment I would use again if and when we visit the area. Rory was a welcoming and responsive host reacting quickly to deal with a couple of minor equipment issue that were speedily resolved after contacting him. Nice welcome pack and personal greeting The only issue that might be improved is the WiFi which seems to have a mind of its own and works as and when it pleases! Hence 4 rather than 5 stars. I believe it is not within the power of the hosts to resolve the WiFi issue but is a more technical problem for the area. We certainly did not let this 1st world problem adversely affect our holiday and overall would recommend it as a place to stay and enjoy a nice part of the Algarve.

Vi havde 10 skønne dage i denne dejlige lejlighed som passer perfekt til en familie med to børn eller to par, som ønsker at bo sammen. Rory og Jane er et fantastisk værtspar og bød os velkommen med en velkomstpakke (brød, smør, skinke, et par øl m.m). De var også meget fleksible med ankomst/afrejsetidspunkt. Beliggenheden er fantastisk med 5 min. gang til strand, indkøb og dejlige restauranter. Lejligheden er en stuelejlighed i en bygning med 6 lejligheder tæt på et par gode pool-områder. Eneste årsag til, at lejlighed ikke får 5 stjerner er, at terrassen kunne være lidt større, men den ligger dejlig ugenert og har eftermiddags-/aftenssol. Dejligt at man ikke selv behøver medbringe poolhåndklæder - de er i lejligheden.

We enjoyed a 5 night stay at this lovely bright and airy apartment. Rory welcomed us on our arrival and showed us round. He provided an extensive welcome pack. There are a choice of swimming pools which always had sun beds available. Only a 5 minute walk from restaurants and the beach. We also had a mid stay clean. Would definitely use this apartment again and thoroughly recommend it.

Back at Carvoeiro and Monte Dourado for the sixth or seventh time. First stay in this apartment and it suited our needs perfectly for a 'spring' week away as a family of four. Lovely and clean, well equipped and comfortable, the apartment provides the ideal accommodation on an excellent complex to enjoy a holiday in the perfect Algarve seaside town/village. Easy strolling distance into the centre but quietly tucked away, we always love it.
