The location is perfect in the old town so it’s possible to walk everywhere. The bedroom was adequate in size and comfortable. Heating and lighting are digitally controlled within the room. The bathroom is well fitted out and the shower is fantastic, spacious and powerful. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. The welcome bottle of Cava is a nice touch.

No lounge area to relax, the ridiculous cost of the hotel parking. We parked free in the nearby open parking lot.

We were not able to access the hotel by car since our GPS did not find the exact location. Luckily we could park very close to the hotel.

The location is just perfect. The rooms and facilities are great.

A/C in the bedroom was far too cold & uncontrollable . Asked reception for assistance who said they would increase the temperature & reduce the fan . This had no effect at all . Over complicated lighting system Light from the corridor lit up the bedroom . Limited breakfast choices but what was provided was of a high quality . Very difficult to park in their underground car park - many scratches on the walls were evidence of that.

location is 5 star! quiet but steps away from more lively streets of Girona. spacious and comfortable room and very relaxed, quiet environment staff were very friendly and helpful and organised a babysitter for our son who was lovely.

the lighting system was a bit complicated to manage! breakfast was quite simple

The location was marvellous

I booked this hotel because they said that I would have a balcony, no balcony. The hotel had very little front staff and relied a lot on electronic key pads, which did not work. I stayed for 4 nights and had to get 4 new keys as they all stopped working and I could not access my bedroom. Which was a massive problem as there was no receptionist or doorman after 11pm. You had to use the electronic key pads to gain access to the hotel, a side door was used in the side alley, beside large refuse bins. This caused a massive issue as the key pad could be working all day and then just stop, so if the keypad stopped working you would have no access into the hotel. So in other words you had to be in before 11pm so the receptionist could let you in, really badly managed. The lights, curtains and air conditioning was also controlled electronically, which also did not work very well. The windows were overlooked by the adjacent building, 8 feet away, so you would have to keep the side curtin pulled for privacy. The front window would not close on the last night and there was nobody there to fix it and the noise on the street was very bad, no noise curfew, the street music was blaring until 2pm and the street parties continued on all night, so no sleep that night Gerona is a fabulous city, this 4 star hotel, is a disgrace, they need a 24 hour access doorman, as their key pads do not work. So if you want to spend 200 euros a night, to sleep on the street, stay here. I was so stressed out by the end of my stay there.
