Nicely situated. Easy to get everywhere in CT. Walking distance to the Seapoint prom
Double bed was really comfortable but I prefer a king size bed.

Das Mountview Guest House liegt super in Sea Point. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Pick n Pay) sind nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt.
Personal ist super lieb und hilfsbereit.
Zimmer sind etwas kleiner, aber ausreichend und sauber. Der Pool wird täglich gereinigt. Auf Anfrage bekommt man auch Poolhandtücher. Besteck und Teller sind jederzeit für Gäste zugänglich.
Das Frühstück wird täglich ganz lieb abgefragt. Es ist ein einfaches Frühstück, aber vollkommen in Ordnung für den Start in den Tag.

Een goede host en een prachtig ingericht guesthouse
De kamer had geen raam, wellicht meer opties voor het ontbijt.

Ontbijt was heerlijk, zelf keuze wat je wil en werd vers bereid. Kamer is een goede grootte met een fijne badkamer en prettig licht. Tevens een goede tv voor een rustige avond 'thuis'. Ondanks weinig ramen wel fijne luchtkwaliteit met goede airco en fan. Gastheer en personeel waren uiterst vriendelijk en persoonlijk. Kortom hebben wij een fijne tijd gehad.
Het bed was vrij hard en klein voor de lange Nederlander. Geen mogelijkheid tot een drankje bij het zwembad. Minibar was niet gevuld (kon eventueel wel om gevraagd worden had ik het idee).

Due to the fact it was winter and all the doors and windows were closed the smell of dump was overwhelming.

In the heart of Sea Point, this guest house is a little gem.
Private pool and Jacuzzi. Very relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed every bit of stay and will certainly return.
That we only stayed 1 night. Lol, we could definitely have done with a longer stay.

the quest house was very well decorated. The pool, the garden, the lounge everything was in the same style. Also the pool is nice on a hot day in Cape town. The breakfast was good! The owner of the guest house is very welcoming and helps you to book activities in Cape town. The room had everything you needed. Also the location of the guest house is good, near the restaurants!

The place is very clean and comfortable. The owner, Joe, is an amazing host and will help you out with all needs. Meets all the needs of a short stay, and the area is probably the best in Cape Town

the main area was nicely decorated
there was no parking, the lobby smelled very badly of fish, the room was not at all what was expected… bathroom was in the room, tap was falling off the sink, the bed was rock hard and was not a queen as advertised.

The property feels like a lovely little oasis. Joe gave us a warm welcome and couldn’t have been a better host throughout our stay. Room was comfortable and we enjoyed the pool area. Location is great!
The bathroom in the bedroom was pretty small and may benefit from a refurb.

Our welcome was fantastic, even though we were later than expected. Joe made us feel incredibly welcome the moment we walked through the door. He was the perfect host and made our stay very pleasurable. We couldnt have asked for more. We know we will be back when we are next in Cape Town. The breakfast was great, the scrambled eggs were DELICIOUS every day. The styling of the property is even better in real life that in the photos.
I don't really have any complaints. The only thing I could maybe say is that the cafetiere didnt do its job 100% but that's just because I am picky! There is no complaints from me at all about our stay. Loved it.

I really felt at home: healthy breakfast, nice swimming pool and good atmosphere. The host really helped my out by making a phone call or arranging some early breakfast. Very safe and nice area to stay for solo-travellers !

Booked three rooms, same price, but one was smaller and not same comfort. The fact that the owner reacts very badly to request and criticism.

The pool area and rooms were lovely and clean. It felt like a home from home. Joe and the team were super lovely and the breakfast was always great.
Close to the sea front and great for going to do any tourist activities. Parking on the street if you are driving too.

Centrally located to all the destinations we wanted to visit, Joe helped us a great deal with regards to navigating our stay, places to eat and places to visit.
Due to load shedding , the jacuzzi had to be switched off.
