I like that the hotel is in the center of activities,the was no struggle for transport and they do offer complementary shuttle to waterfront and back. Oh and there's no load shedding

The beach is 15 minutes away

Breakfast was great. Wide variety to choose from.

I was initially given a room i had not booked but that was fixed.

Great location, walking distance to promenade and restaurants.

We wanted to watch the marathon in the rooms but we were told to go downstairs to watch. Also the breakfast menu should be changed or add variety. We ate the same things since we arrived till left

it was not clean, they did not change our sheets for our entire stay seems like they were the same sheets from previous clients,

Location is great, hotel is clean & staff were very friendly.

The one half of the hotel has back-up power during load shedding where the half i stayed in has none. Would be nice to have known as i had a function to attend and could not get ready. Passages, lobbies, fire escapes etc have no emergency lighting making it very dangerous in the dark. For the price i paid i would imagine a mini fridge is a basic requirement. I am a diabetic & had to store my injections in buckets of ice. i received a fridge on the last night of my stay.

probably the most peaceful hotel I have stayed in and I have tried a few. Zero noise from guests. Lovely sea view. Perfect location.

the room was a very good size as was the bathroom. it was clean. Staff very friendly.

They seemed to run out of things, ie there was no white wine one evening. There wasn’t always croissants at breakfast.

Breakfast can do with more variety. Missed a bar fridge in our standard room. Sure we had one previously, but overall a very nice stay.

load shedding in the family rooms a whole side of the hotel while the other side stays on shocking no fridge in the room and a shower not a bath was very difficult showering my 2 year old staff not very helpful at all wha a terrible experience

The location was fantastic-we could walk to the beach and to restaurants. They offered a free shuttle to V&A harbor and allowed us to check in early. They have luggage storage, too.

There was nothing wrong with it, except a bit of wood off the underside of the sink and no line for clothes.
