NIce accomodation for a good price

Cleanless of the room (carpet). Fire safety is on a very low level. In case of fire people from the rooms in the end of coridor have no chance to survive(to go out) due to very high fence.

Room was big and clean. Great location, close to the city center. Also additional bed was comfortable and firm. There was an electric catle with mugs at the corridor next to the room with tea and cofeee.

No kitchenette - it is not a big issue, I migh have overlooked there is no in the room description. But would be fine to have it, especially when no food was served and dinining area was closed. Sofa was not very comfortable, but again not serious problem.

Room was well equipped (desk, large TV, wardrobe, only fridge was missing). Position is in the lovely old town, in a quiet street, with parking available for free. Price was really attractive. I asked for a parcel delivery and they let me find it in my room, which was very kind of them.

I admit I am a spoilt person, who usually sleep in 4 or 5 stars hotels and was lured by great fares and little choice in the surroundings. Anyway, I had to wait 15 mins at the check-in because nobody was at the penzión, the room was a bit humid and quite cold on the first night, without temperature regulation available. Furniture is rather low quality. They did not ask if I needed raňajky (breakfast) and I didn't ask for this option because the penzión looked empty and I didn't want to bother the staff for one person only.

Location is perfect, right in the center of the town, around all places to visit in Skalica. We could park in front, so this was good as well. People at the reception were friendly . Had good internet and Smart TV in the room.

How bathroom looked. It was clean , but the shower had a radiator that was rusted quite a lot on one corner, didn't look appealing at all. Also the carpet in the room is stained, could use some better cleaning. Guess everybody enters with shoes and is visible.

A really nice place for a short stay in Skalica. There's just everything you need and the location couldn't be better, basically in the city center but still very quiet. Also, you can easily park right in front of the hotel for free (at least in the evening). Next time I visit Skalica I'll surely book this hotel again.

Quietness of the place was superb. Bed were fine. Breakfast was OK to my taste. I am used to big gorgeous buffet bars, but admire even more small home like breakfast :0) All staff was friendly and professional.
