Windows did not have a view and bedroom felt enclosed and had no views

The view

Very overpriced for quality. Room smelled very strongly of mold, it caused breathing issues for my partner. AC did not function properly. Badly maintained, shower handle fell off and shower screen held by zipties. Terrible WIFI. Room wasnt even in the hotel and entrance shared with residents.

hundreds of stairs to get up to get there. you can stay at a property whose ground floor is level with the street…you have to climb hundreds of stairs to get to the ground floor of property. this track up to the hotel discourages leaving to actually explore the area …we stayed in every evening bc the idea of doing the stairs again was unreal. don’t stay here if you’d like to explore. also the rooms were tiny for 800euros a night this place is egregiously overpriced. Also there is 1 women at the front desk in the day and 1 at night neither like guests.

Beautiful location with breathtaking views. very clean and extremely friendly, approachable and helpful staff. We lost a hand bag in the town and the staff took upon themselves to not only find it but with all contents and money intact - just extraordinary service. The breakfast is very nice and they cater to your specific needs. I would highly recommend for stay in Positano.

The breakfast tastes amazing and got great variety of food.

It’s a bit confused when my taxi dropped me off on the main road. I struggled to find the hotel need to keep asking people. And luckily, a staff saw me when I was lost with my big luggage and arranged for people to come down to help.

great views, and it was quiet. i was also able to walk directly to the beach after going down many stairs.

i booked a room with a ocean facing terrace and there was a huge tree blocking 30% of my view. it also cost 50 Euros a day to park my rental car. there are many stairs to reach the hotel from the Parking area. i kind of enjoyed the exercise, but it’s not for everyone.

the view is amazing. there is some classic luxury and charm about the hotel.

the room was small and it was very expensive.

Staff was wonderful. Room was very nice... a little older but comfortable and amenities were available.

Dinner at restaurant was good, not wonderful. Original room was small and disappointing, thankful an upgrade was available. Manager was nice but required some warming up to - not super friendly at the onset.

The views were spectacular. The room was comfortable if small. The breakfast was nice.

We were not told in advance that a porter would meet us at the road. He did not have a uniform only a tee shirt with the hotel name on. We were naturally suspicious and quite scared on the narrow twisting steps up to the hotel. We did not know if he was genuine or not. Lady at check in not very sympathetic or friendly. They need to tell guests in advance that a porter will meet them. Also he should have a proper uniform. Not happy having to pay extra for any cooked food at breakfast. Overall not good value for the price we paid.

The view from the room and especially the terrace was beautiful. The breakfast was good. The wait staff were friendly and helpful. Thank goodness for the guy who brought the suitcases up what seemed like a million steps !

The room was SMALL ! Certainly not worth the $1900 I paid for THREE nights !!!! Bathroom even tinier ! Again NOT worth the cost. Also what is not mentioned is that it is up about 150 - 200 steps.
