Not worth the money. Our room was very small, AC was in the room but blowing hot air. The curtains where off and the only one on was half falling. Bathroom bin was dirty whe we got in and no bin liner. One afternoons 2 man where in our room when I asked why they where in there they said they were working on the hot water? It would have been nice for reception to let us know that someone will be going in. On check out the lady at reception told us that we had the master key of the whole place?? Totally not safe. No coffee in the room (only added the last day when we bought some ourselves) Anyway lacking in details

Perfect spot directly in the old city with a great sea view.

the position of the hotel is superb: just inside the upper gate of the old town and not too far from the public parking. The view from our room, overlooking the Adriatic, was fantastic. Comfortable bed, good sized shower in bathroom. Very efficient air-conditioner. Friendly hotel staff.

A gorgeous location in the old town. Rooms with sea view are absolutely stunning- we were fortunate enough to stay in one of them and would highly recommend. Good breakfast selection.

Staff didn’t inform us about how to access the property when coming home late, which instigated a slight panic- however, all was eventually fine. A couple of other minor issues, but they did knock off a bit of money for us, which was good.

Actually everything, perfect location, incredible view, very gentile and helpful staff, nice Restaurant with a great breakfast. We loved it, many thanks to all for the nice time, we will come for sure again!!😊😊

That was one of the most beautiful places to stay during our vacation in Montenegro. It’s so breathtaking to open a window and see an incredible view from the cliff. We are very thankful to the Hotel Team, they were so friendly, tried to help with everything! And I need to say that they serve an incredible breakfast. We definitely would like to come back to the hotel once we decide to spend a vacation again in Montenegro.

The location was perfect, the view in the morning speechless! The hosts were very friendly and positive! It was definitely worth the price!

The location was amazing. We ate and drank outdoors where we were perfectly situated to watch the sunset with a fabulous bottle of Montenegrin wine. Our host mentioned the restaurant menu is small but quality, and he was not wrong. We both had pasta dishes that seemed simple but flavour was so good. Our host upon arrival, carried an extremely heavy suitcase on his shoulder up x3 flights of stairs. What a legend ! I also couldn’t help but admire his professionalism. He made us feel like VIPs throughout our stay. Our host upon departure was also amazing. As we checked out, she gave us an overview of Ulcinj, that made us really regret how short our stay was. We loved how passionate she was about where she was from and could tell she was an amazing advocate for tourism in her location. We could have talked to her for hours! The cakes from our room was also amazing. Gives you a “pinch me” moment when you wake up to that view. Staff who serves us breakfast was so lovely also, and the breakfast was plentiful with a range of choices. Serves afternoon-tea/buffet style at your table with an option to ask for hot food.

The room was extremely hot, even the AC struggled to cool the room. We found it very hard to sleep unfortunately. We loved the breakfast, but it was huge for a party of 2. There was a lot of food waste and we felt bad about it.

It’s a great hotel in a amazing location. The seaview is breathtaking. The restaurant offers delicious food, don’t miss to try the local wine. The staff as always very professional and attentive, esp. Valmir. It’s a small and very cozy place

Generally there is nothing. Unfortunately there was a hussle about my stay which I extended there. But Hotel did it’s best to solve that issue. I truly recommend this Hotel.

Because of the hotel's location (Old Town) parking is a bit tricky to find. The hotel staff has recommended us to park close to the Ulcinj castle which was a good recommendation

Nice and quiet with a lovely restaurant an a perfect location in the old town. Various restaurants are near. The hotel is made and decorated with a lot of heart and the personal was super nice! Thank you!!

We were upgraded to a suite with a balcony & beautiful view. We were offered to have breakfast either at Pirate or their sister hotel Plaza on the main promenade in town. We chose Plaza & really enjoyed ourselves. The food was excellent, plentiful & the hotel felt like the heart of Ulcinj, where tourists & locals come to eat, drink coffee, listen to music in the evening, have dinner & people watch. We could also use the rooftop pool at the Plaza, which is beautiful.

Hotel Pirate in Ulcinj Old Town turned out to be the biggest surprise of this summer. Breathtaking view from our beautiful room, friendly staff, excellent restaurant, an all around great experience. We were the only guests because of travel restrictions during the pandemics and we felt privileged that the hotel accepted our reservation and took such good care of us. We won’t forget the sunset that we watched from our terrace.
