The location has some steps to navigate to get there. But you couldn't find a more convenient location. Right in the heart of the action. After a day of exploring we would watch the street performers from the 3rd story window. We really enjoyed our stay.

Loved our stay. Enjoyed watching tourists below on the Royal Mile. Fans available for each bedroom. Washer/Dryer worked well. Very spacious. No elevator….about 55 steps up spiral staircase. Comfortable beds. Having two bathrooms was great for four people.

Location and ambiance is perfect!

Great place for a few days in Edinburgh. Has well equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms and lovely lounge. Perfect location for exploring the castle and high street and everything in Edinburgh

It is like staying in Times Square in NYC, except its in ancient Edinburgh. It can be noisy - they stock the kegs for the bars in the mornings, but it is a great location and is quite spacious. It is difficult to access by car after 10:309 in the morning, as they block off the road for pedestrians - a surprise, but if you approach from higher on the High Street, you do ok. Spiral stone staircase was a bit unnerving and is best climbed with smaller luggage. My husband and I and our three kids (ages 21, 19, 17) stayed, and it was liked by all. Nice having the key in a lock box and the key pad entry to the flat - easy enough for all of us. Our bed and the pillow were actually more comfy than most the others we slept in in Scotland. Over-all a good value if you have a number of people and need more space. Good communication with host. Thank you Cat!!

Excellent communication - one caveat, if you don’t like spiral steps, this is not for you - it was a bear getting our luggage up, but, boy or boy, it was worth it!

Cracking location, right in the centre of Edinburgh. Flat was great - clean and spacious - with a good view of High St /Royal Mile. Some city centre type noise in the evenings, but of no concern. If anything, it added to the atmosphere. Would happily recommend staying here, unless you’d struggle with stairs (2-3 floor spiral staircase to get up to flat).

We absolutely LOVED the flat. It was perfect for our family of 5. It’s located right by St Giles in the middle of the Royal Mile!!!! Watch the street performers right out the window. Kind of noisy at night but we just used an app on our phone to drown out some of the noise. It’s 55 stairs up to the flat and the lockbox was great for our family so everyone could come and go as they please. That’s the great part about European vacations is that you walk so much you can eat what you want!!! I would definitely stay here again. Be advised the flat does not offer a dryer, hair dryer or washcloths size bring those. We tried to use our US hair straightener but converter did not work so just buy a UK blow dryer so u won’t have to worry about it... it will fry your adapter and straightener.... these are all small things as we are learning along the way! The flat was spotless and exactly as advertised. Netflix was available to watch and WiFi worked just fine. Lagged a bit in the very back bedroom but who cares right?? Loved it and if we ever stay in Edinburgh again I will definitely stay here!!!

The apartment lives up to the listing (except for the 4th floor stair climb). Great location close to all of the main attractions and shopping. Kitchen well kitted our for self catering. Great washing machine. A bit noisy at night so take your ear plugs. We loved our stay and would happily recommend.

Stayed during Fringe festival and saw the Military Tattoo. Great for watching street performances right from your window!! Would definitely stay again!! Roughly 55 stairs up beautiful spiral staircase to the apartment as a caution to those that may find it difficult.

Great apartment, perfect location, responsive host...

This flat is just as pictured, and right on the Royal Mile. Very clean and spacious. There were five of us and it worked out very well to have two bathrooms, both with showers. You are in the center of the Old Town high street, but just a short walk from New Town. You will need to be able to carry your luggage up a number of stairs, but it's worth it for the view. Highly recommended!

We booked this apartment because we felt that it was in a good central place in Edinburgh and the location couldn't have been better. It is in the center of the Royal Mile and has everything you need round it. The flat felt spacious for a city apartment and was very nicely decorated. It was all very new when we stayed. We particularly liked the fact that there were two bathrooms as it meant that everybody could get a shower in the morning without having to wait too long. We didn't really eat in much but the kitchen seemed well-equipped with good quality cookware. It was all very clean. The beds and bedding are worth noting as they were new and comfortable, and seemed really good quality. Great television - but we didn't spend much time watching that either! We didn't meet the owner but they emailed lots of information in advance of our meeting and we found the electronic key lock useful once we had got the hang of it as we didn't need to worry about who had the keys. Some people might not like the two flights of stairs but so long as you're not really unfit they are fine. We loved it here and would definitely stay again!
