I wanted to watch the ferries come and go and it doesn’t get any better than this location. Two balconies or sitting inside at the tall table have you looking right into the belly of the ferry. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Very clean and excellent communication from the owner before and during the stay. If I get the opportunity to come back, there’s nowhere else I would stay.

We celebrated out 25th wedding anniversary in the Yakima Suite and it was perfect! The weather was amazing and enjoyed kayaking around Lime Kiln Lighthouse and Roche Harbor. We loved shopping and dining just steps from our suite and watching the ferries and people come and go from our lanai was so much fun. Thank you for a memorable 3 days!!

Clean, convenient and beautiful view.

This is our second stay in the Yakima suite. We had a wonderful stay. We love the location and being in the midst of all the action. The balcony is a fun place to sip coffee. Our first night was HOT so having an AC unit would have been appreciated but it cooled down significantly over the course of our stay. There were fans so that helped. We enjoyed not having to interact with anyone at check-in and check-out. Even though the suite is in a public, central spot you feel like it’s secluded & private within the suite. Bring ear plugs if you’re sensitive to noise (ferry and traffic noise). We will be back!

The apartment was lovely but I had no internet and I had to call to get the toilet to work. The management company, Northwest Island Escapes, was very responsive and helpful.

Good experience. However some maintenance needed; shower handle ready to fall off, shower slow to drain and kitchen sink slow to drain. Thanks, love the unit.

My husband and I spent a few night here on a kid free vacation. This was a great location in Friday Harbor, with an awesome view of the ferry and harbor. Convenient parking and great location for walking around town. Would definitely stay here again on another visit to San Juan Island.

This was the perfect location. We were able to walk everywhere. Opening the patio doors and watching the ferry and all of the boats in the harbor was amazing. We had cell phone service, which we didn't have in certain areas on the island. The beds were very comfortable. The place was clean. The shower was great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that is going to Friday Harbor. I would rate everything a 10 if the ratings went up that high.

The view from this harbor abode was just magical. We watched boats and ferries come and go while relaxing on 1 of 2 balconies. Accommodations are clean and comfortable. What a great spot! We are so greatful to have stayed here! Highly recommend.

Clean. Well appointed and perfectly located. You can literally walk right off the ferry and to the front door. Coffee shop downstairs was great. We’ll definitely be back!

Can't improve on the location! Loved watching the ferry activities. My husband and I also enjoy "walking the docks" looking for our next boat. The hiking trails on the island are some of the best too. The Yakima suite exceeded all my expectations except for one. The kitchenette is equipped with a small hot plate, a small toaster oven, and a microwave. This would suffice if I would of brought my own pans. The three pans provided were small and the teflon was peeling off. The bed was good, the two decks were great, and the window in the shower was so cool. The drain in the shower and kitchen sink are very slow. The blue cushions on the chairs at the high table could use a cleaning. Other tan that I love this place and will return!

Beautiful view overlooking harbor. We came just at the start of low season , therefore it was quiet with not a lot of people around. The room itself was perfect to read, sleep and hang out in between walking and hiking the island. The communication with property management was stressful. I was not given door code until I called upon arrival. Interestingly… in the coffee table book with instructions for rental, it states to reach out to property management before you leave your home if you haven’t received that information yet. I would have preferred a text or message from property at some point.( although I did get a text while enroute reminding me of COVID precautions) All in all, lovely , simple place in a great location!

My family of 4 loved this property. We loved Friday Harbor and watching the ferries and other boats come and go. My teen and tween loved getting ice cream across the street every night. We loved having restaurants, shops and groceries within walking distance. And we loved all that San Juan Island had to offer, including Lime Kiln State Park, the British and American Camps, and Pelindaba Lavendar Farm to name a few. We want to come back!

We loved our stay in the Yakima suite! It was extremely roomy for a studio and the kitchenette was more functional than we expected. Everything was clean and the location was fantastic to watch the ferries coming in and out and walk to everything in town. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this one probably isn’t for you, but highly recommended in general.

WOW!!! What great studio…prefect location, great set up inside, great views, well equipped…just perfect! Would highly recommend it.

Fabulous location with an extraordinary view.. Right in the middle of the cute town. Really nice property. Accurate in the description. Well equipped little efficiency kitchen. New and clean bathroom. Very comfortable sleeper sofa. The main bed really needs a new mattress as it doesn’t provide support.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights and loved the location. You really can’t beat it! They had everything we needed in the room, even cozy robes. We enjoyed having a variety of teas in the room for evening time. We enjoyed the balcony watching the ferry come and go. I can imagine the summertime it would be a little loud but being covid and winter not much was open so we only heard a little from down below. The bed is a little smaller than we prefer and not the most comfortable. Super cute place and would love to stay again with my husband but couldn’t fit anymore than 2 in the space. Many times we have looked at this unit from the rooftop bar next door and talked about how nice it would be to stay there. This was finally the year. The location, the view, the amenities. Everything about this place is perfect (with the exception of a tiny bar sink in the kitchenette, that is just dumb) We will stay here again and again.
