A whole apartment for ourselves

There was quite some smoking going on right before our door. As non smokers, this was sometimes bothersome.

The apartments are close to central park, the park it's really nice, they offer tours of the colonial city, they also sell food, drinks. The apartments are also close to restaurants at calle la calzada where at night they put music and its really fun.

Casa Amarillo was extremely comfortable and spacious. The kitchen had a full-sized refrigerator, stove, great counter space and plenty of plates, pot, pans, cup and glasses. The owner was very helpful throughout my two-week stay. He even gave me a ride to the bus terminal on my very last day in Granada. The air conditioning worked very well. There is a outside patio with a table and chairs to entertain guests.

Casa Amarilla is in a very good location, within a short walk to both the street market and La Calzada. The apartment I had was actually very functional for an extended stay, with a small kitchen and eating / working table.

The bathroom looked very nice on appearance, but actually had several issues. The shower water pressure is terrible, not much beyond a drizzle and confirmed by Christopher as normal since it depends on gravity from rooftop water tank. There is also no hot water...ever. The toilet tank did not properly reset after flushes and continuously ran unless the handle was jiggled repeatedly (and this didn't always work). This was supposed to be fixed after I left. Finally, the towels were a bit scratchy and rough. One final note, that I missed when booking, is that the property only accepts cash...no credit cards accepted.

Quiet neighborhood

Clean, great equipped, there was even a mixer in the kitchen to make smoothies... close to street with bars & restaurants... Super Ausstattung. Sauber. Limpio y hay todo por cocinar...
