We really like the owner of the property, felt really welcome and he helped us out with everything! Also the location of the property was really good.

The hosts were super friendly and the breakfast was good. Location was ideal.

I booked a budget room and I’m aware this is a cheap option but I didn’t expect to find the bathroom with mould and damp and lots of mosquitoes. Budget should mean basic not dirty.

Superfreundliche Begrüßung, leckeres Frühstück, Ajith hat uns Tuk Tuks organisiert, 1x daytrip nach Pollunaruwa mit Guide und zu den Dambulla Caves, beides interessante Tages-Ausflugsziele. Gute Lage zum Rock, fussläufig zu Restaurants, alles perfekt. Direkt an der Bushaltestelle „post Office „.

Liegt zentral und doch fast im Dschungel. Jedes Zimmer hat auf dem Balkon einen Tisch, auf dem auch das Frühstück ( sehr reichhaltig) serviert wird. Der Fussboden und die Einrichtung sind aus Holz.

Durch die Nähe zum Wald tauchen Affenhorden auf dem Balkon auf und klauen alles mögliche. Selbst durch die vergitterten Fenster haben sie hereingefasst.

Mainly the staff, very kind! And good location for the rock.

The rooms on the ground floor are very humid and a bit smelly, and can be noisy too. The bed linen did not look clean and the bathroom sink was stained and when I pointed it out somebody came with a used cloth and no detergent and nothing changed…

Staff were fantastic, really helpful in arranging tours to other parts of the area (we used Sigiriya as a base) and really attentive. Breakfast was lovely, coconut pancakes were the best we had. The room was really big and spacious and location was great for entrance to sigiriya rock and bars and restaurants.

I think it may have been just our room or maybe rooms on the ground floor but there was a serious mould problem in the bathroom which meant the room had a strong odour of mould. It's such a shame as the place was brilliant otherwise and I don't think other guests had the same problem- just be mindful of the ground floor room by the stairs.

De prachtige groene omgeving, de centrale locatie (loop / tuktuk afstand naar Lion Rock en Pidurangala Rock. Restaurantjes en baretjes in de buurt. Mr. Ajith en zijn vrouw zijn ontzettend lieve en gastvrije mensen. Met liefde en aandacht regelen ze alles voor je. We zijn hier een extra nacht gebleven. Het ontbijt was lekker en voldoende. We hopen om en dag weer terug te komen. Bedankt voor alles!

De hygiëne in de badkamer zou beter kunnen! Koud water om te douchen (maar dat is normaal voor in Sri Lanka).

The owner was really nice, he got us a tuk-tuk for our early morning hike and set up a great safari for us. The room was big, had hot water, and a strong shower. It's in a good spot to walk around Sigiriya, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. We enjoyed a breakfast, really delicious! AC in the room.

Bed a bit hard

Normalerweise gebe ich keine 10 aber bei dem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut gerechtfertigt. Super freundliche Gastgeber die gutes Englisch sprechen und einem mit allem helfen. Große Zimmer mitten in der Natur, sodass man toll Tiere beobachten kann zB haben wir ein Bengal Monitor gesehen. Geräumige Zimmer mit Klima und Mückennetz. Ich würde jedem der nach Sigiriya will diese Unterkunft empfehlen!

Die Toilettenspülung ging bei uns sehr schlecht zu drücken

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la gentillesse et la disponibilité des propriétaires (toujours prêts à nous conseiller ou à nous rendre service, y compris avant l'arrivée) ainsi que la qualité du petit déjeuner (copieux et très bon). L'emplacement est idéal, les chambres sont spacieuses et la propreté est impeccable.

C'est un petit détail, mais salle de bains peu fonctionnelle.

Sehr gute Lage, eine schöne Veranda mit Blick auf den begrünten Innenhofe, ruhig und trotzdem zentral, tolles Frühstück! Das beste allerdings ist der supernette, lustige und hilfsbereite Gastgeber Ajith, bei dem man sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen fühlt!

Unser Zimmer war leider ziemlich muffig, wie das in Asien halt oft so ist (hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit, stockige Wände)….mit laufender Klimaanlage ging es dann.

Room was fine and the staff were nice. It is very good value for money.

Staff were so lovely and helpful, they booked a taxi for us to our next destination for a good price. The room was spacious, clean and the shower had hot water. Restaurants very near and can walk to lion rock easily from here also.

It rained non stop during our stay so the room was a little damp but this seems to be a problem with the majority of places in Sri Lanka

- the location is at a good walking distance of Sigiriya Lion's Rock - The owners are very kind and helpful, they can arrange you a lot of things and give nice advices, especially for activities and traveling from the hotel to others places to visit in the area or going to your next step - The breakfast is very nice

- The moisture in the bathroom but it's the same everywhere in Sri Lanka, even if you open the window, if the weather is rainy, there is too much humidity outside (tropical area) to have a dry atmosphere.

Todo!! Pero sin lugar a duda, destacaría la amabilidad y predisposición de los dueños (sobre todo ella). Es un encanto de mujer que te ayuda en todo, todo son facilidades. Por poner un ejemplo, una de las 3 noches q nos quedamos, llegamos a las 22.30h al alojamiento (ya tarde para aquí), y queríamos al día siguiente ir a ver el amanecer a Pidurangala, q hay q salir a las 5am y no teníamos nada contratado, no puso ninguna pega y con decírselo ya estaba, al dia siguiente teniamos nuestro tuk-tuk esperando. Las habitaciones son amplias y muy limpias. El desayuno de 10 también! Sin lugar a duda, repetiría seguro! Te sentirás como en familia.

The host is amazing, always ready to help and answer all our questions! The room was nice with the AC which helped us a lot! Also the bed was protected from the mosquitos, its crucial especially during the rain season! Local breakfasts were delicious and has given us a chance to taste Sri Lanka!

The bathroom was OK but could be a bit better :)

Agit was so friendly and helpful. The location in the forest was lovely.

No negatives

We stayed here last month and absolutely loved it. The hosts were so so nice and attentive and helped us book activities to do in the area. The room was spacious and clean and the breakfast was great, even with the monkeys joining!

The aircon could be stronger but there was also a fan in the room which helped

Nice place just outside the Sigiriya archelogical site. Staff is welcoming and willing to help you. In the morning monkeys can be seen on the nearby trees

Toilet flush was not always working correctly and the toilet cleaning was not at its best
