Nice room in a nice building.

We would have appreciated being given advance notice of the need to pre-book for the restaurant. When we checked in it was full already that evening.

It was the ideal first stay after 23 hours of travelling. But best if all were the staff: warm, friendly, ever-helpful. We should have stayed longer.

Nothing to dislike.

The view from breakfast to the valley is fabulous. Service is friendly and it is peaceful.

Very nice rooms. Location is beautiful in scenic Tuscany. Staff is friendly.

During week nights it was nice and quiet, but on Friday night (our last night) the hotel hosted a birthday party outside on the terrace with loud music and even louder Italians. Hotel rooms are just above the terrace. Music stopped at 23.30, but party guests partied (with loud singing, talking, laughing) until after 00.30. Impossible to sleep. Not acceptable for such a venue. Breakfast: I don't know if it's because of Corona or because of low season, but no breakfast buffet was offered. You have to choose your breakfast the day before. You even have to order the number of cups of coffee you would like for breakfast, the night before. And only one room/breakfast order per 15 min. So if 08.00 is already taken by other guests, you are forced to choose either 07.45 or 08.15. Last but not least: use of swimming pool/pool towels is not considered as a service, but as a paid extra. This is not told when check-in in. And not according to information on Booing.com! We only found out when settling our bill. Not what I expect from a hotel with this service level/price.

Location e vista

Villa Giorgia is a classic attractive looking Villa in a spectacular setting looking down on Pistoia. It’s an imposing building with a beautiful garden and outdoor pool.

The villa is sparsely decorated, including the rooms but this is likely driven by the current pandemic. It could do with more warmth and comfort in my opinion.

We had a very comfortabele spacious room with a great view. Staff is very friendly! We had a nice dinner at the modern but elegant restaurant. There is free parking space opposite the hotel. We would definately return!
