The deluxe double room on the 2nd floor was great. Cozy restaurant to hang out in on the front and in the backyard. Nice and helpful staff. Short walk down to the beautiful beach.

Nice hotel, located in a great place. Good food at the restaurant, friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to a lovely beach and surfing spot. Big room with a nice balcony.

Fantastic place in a laid back surf spot near coconut beach! The restaurant downstairs has really great food. Highly recommend the Deluxe Rooms with balcony on top floor!

Location & Friendly Staff

Very hot in room.

We first booked a 'normal' room and had a very easy check-in when we arrived. Later the same day when sitting at the restaurant we saw the bungalows in the back and asked if one of them was still available, and one was! We booked the bungalow for a couple of days instead and loved it, was really nice to have your own little house and patio. However, with only a ceiling fan in the room it can get very hot and the fan is a bit loud, but we still enjoyed our stay. The restaurant has AMAZING food. We tried to go out for lunch and dinners at other places but ended up eating at the accommodation every single day more or less. We also LOVED that this accommodation had three super friendly dogs around that you could cuddle with and that there was a garden where you could enjoy the sun. The location of this place is really good, it's a very short walk from the beach and it's hidden from the main street so you're not disturbed by cars. Staff is friendly and very helpful, we got help to book taxi when needed and scooters.

A small refrigerator in the room to keep your water cool would had been great.

Staff were super lovely, attentive and helpful. Assisted when I broke my foot, arranged taxi to get to Colombo during looming police curfew. Great vibe in village and lots of good food options. Surf is OK, go early or late.

Bungalow large but missing advertised facilities - daybed, phone, toiletries (only small soap bar), wardrobe (2 sticks hung from roof, one was missing). Needs basic repairs - holes in walls, broken bathroom lock, 1/2 repaired roof - heard scurrying every night, all night. Found 4 large rats sleeping under roof tiles, left ASAP. Dogs allowed on lounges and in restaurant... not so bad but saw them eat from garbage heap, one stole a dirty nappy from a room. We’re far from precious but was a bit too real. Surf is saturated with novices, take care.
