Strange hotel. I think maybe I just made a bad choice as it was definitely not to my taste. Good location just off the pedestrianised main street and close to the Metro, but that’s pretty much where my positives have to end. Staff not very friendly or welcoming. Odd room, rather dark, very peculiar interior design, very uncomfortable bathroom because of an especially silly shower cubicle. Quite comfortable and very quiet but lacking basic amenities, eg kettle. Not bad value but I won’t be back.

Friendly staff, amazing location (did I mention how amazing the location is?), clean rooms, cool decorations, reasonable price. (oh.. and the location... next to everything you need). We are coming back next year!

The breakfast was very good but you were only allowed less than a half cup of expresso coffee which is totally stupid as we usually have at least 3 full cups of Flat White or Latte coffee in the morning. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room and only 2 small bottles of complimentary water for our 3 day stay.

When I had to go on an early start tour the hotel made a to go breakfast which was great.

Perfect location, very friendly staff, lovely rooms

Reception staff very good. They tried to support with all our requests and were always very friendly, Very good sized rooms with very good facilities (i.e. great size bed, free use of room safe, great shower and bathroom facilities.

The lady on breakfast was not the most friendly person we came across when compared to the rest of the staff encountered especially as we had to insist on allowing us to have the six of us sit together. Whilst the actual standard of the food was very good we were not satisfied with the hot drink option. The breakfast was advertised as including tea or coffee but on the first morning we were offered a fruit tea only and a small espresso type coffee and worst of all to be drunk out of small paper cups. The party decided to eat out for breakfast on our second morning, but decide to try the hotel again on our last morning. However on this occasion we reported our concerns to Nicoli on reception re hot drinks and it transpired that we were entitled to a proper hot coffee (e.g. cappuccino) in a proper cup. We got the impression that as the lady on duty was trying to cut corners due to workload issues.
