The staff is amazing, very helpful. The breakfast is very good and the staff serving the breakfast are excellent.

The room was very noisy. Early in the morning around 6 they are loading and unloading something and there was a terrible noise.

The shuttle bus service is wonderful and perfectly organized Pool is also excellent, great for relaxing Location is perfect, about ten minutes of walk to nearest beach The staff is absolutely incredible, very kind and forthcoming

The accommodation, for a 60+ year old property was really well maintained and spotlessly clean. Rooms were large and well equipped. The staff were excellent, so helpful, smiling and accommodated all requests. Breakfast was great, lots of choice, fresh coffee and really warm welcome from the restaurant staff. The complimentary shuttle bus was excellent, you could book in the morning to take you and pick you up at night. it was always prompt and the driver - Gregori??- was so cheery and polite. we had to get a taxi back after hiring a boat in sorrento once which cost 17 euros!! so using the complimentary bus all week saved us a fortune..

We ate at the snack bar for lunch on our first day. it was expensive and the food was okay, we didn’t eat there again.

A fabulous hotel just outside of the busyness of Sorrento. The complimentary shuttle bus was an excellent & reliable service with a lovely, polite driver. Superb breakfast & they kindly celebrated our two family birthdays with music & candles. Highly recommended.

The fridge in our room didn’t work well & didn’t keep things very cold.

pool was nice and breakfast was decent. the staff was really nice and accommodating. the shuttle bus was so convenient. that was probably the best part. the service was really great over all.

Our room was not cleaned properly. First thing I did was lay on the bed and I found a piece of king curly dark hair stuck to my butt. Disgusting. Then after I went to have a shower and found a clump of long curly black hair dried to the shower wall. Crazy how someone cleaning the shower would miss that. Everything was great besides the uncleanliness.

Everything! From the minute we arrived the staff were fantastic. The hotel was really clean, our room was really big with a balcony and a mountain view. The breakfast was fantastic, we didn't eat in the hotel in the evening but the menu changed every night. The location was perfect for walking into the town with a 20mins walk into Sorrento which is well worth it in the evening. Can't recommend this hotel enough.

Hotel Caravel and it’s Staff provide a wonderful holiday experience for visitors to Sorrento. From it’s appearance to it’s wonderful helpful and friendly staff guests experience a highly personal level of service. staff cannot do enough for you to make your stay as wonderful as possible.

I liked that in spite of the challenge, the hotel stepped up and tried to change the room (didn't use it because we were staying just one night) and then apologised and offered a partial refund, which I took. I would probably stay again on the basis of how they dealt with it.

The room has obviously seen better days with marks on the walls and was OK, but seemed more adequate for a 3 star instead of a 4. This is compensated by the location. We had an "experience" in the middle of the night when we noticed loads of tiny ants in the bathroom and the corridor, the ones that you normally see in places near the seaside.

We loved the free shuttle bus into Sorrento. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly. We also loved the location - perfect for watching the sunset over Sorrento and great views of Vesuvius. A short walk from the public beach and local restaurants. Highly recommend.

I really love Hotel Caravel. The hotel is located on a quiet street, about 1-1.5 km from the center of Sorrento. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and I greatly appreciated the breakfast buffet. In fact, I extended my stay in Sorrento because I was so comfortable at the hotel. I look forward to staying at Hotel Caravel again, when I return to Sorrento.

The staff was so friendly and accomodating! Very attentive and helpful when I needed extra items like toilet paper, extra coffee, and towels. The breakfast was very simple and delicious. The view of Vesuvius was out of this world and I spent some time working on the balcony and staring at the sea and the backdrop. Lunch and dinner were also available and simple but perfect when I didn't feel like going into town for meals.

I was surprised by how small the room was but adjusted once I saw my balcony. I had a small issue with some ants in the room but not a big deal. I had requested to be on a quiet level of the hotel and that wasn't respected by some guests who spoke very loudly and banged furniture around (??). I couldn't figure out what they were doing but thankfully didn't last too late into the evening. The walls are a bit thin. I was disappointed to hear that the shuttle isn't 'allowed' to take you to the train station that is closest to the hotel so had to walk the 15 min to the train station.

I loved the location, so close to everything and easy to access. The poolside was amazing, the breakfast was so so good. Loved every minute of the stay. Good value for the money!

Staff at Hotel Caravel is super friendly and very helpfull. Great swimming pool, free shutle to the center, great view at mount Vesuvius from the balcony. Hotel is located few hundred meters from the beach. Convinient location, between Amalfi/Positano and Capri on one side with Vesuvius/Pompei and Naples on the other however traffic is pretty dense. Close to the shutle bus stop (in the centre) there is a restaurant called Convivio which serves amazing grilled sea food. Reservation could save you waiting time.

It is a pitty that region has been affected by lower tourism amin covid, it has so much to offer.

Breakfast was pretty basic but ok. Shuttle driver and staff were very kind and helpful, swimming pool was amazing!

nothing really in regards to the hotel. . no beaches around unless you want to pay 50 Euros for a sunbed which I find ridiculous.(solved with onsite swimming pool)

From the first second I felt very welcome. The hospitality is one of the best I’ve experienced ever. From the people at the reception to the restaurant, swimming pool and buss driver (yes they have a buss free of charge to Sorrento) everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Next to that the hotel was spotless and had everything you could expect for that price. I will definitely come back!
