The villa was very clean and the pool so warm. Everything you'd need is in the lovely kitchen. The bedding was poor though - very old and ill fitting. It drove me mad waking up to the constantly untucked fitted (supposedly) sheet ! The local shop is quite a walk away - as is the beach. I would definitely say a car is needed. The owner is really helpful and a call away.

A first class holiday location. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and most certainly will book the villa again. Jesus & Mayte are wonderful hosts who answered all our questions and went out of their way to help.

We really enjoyed staying in the house of jesus and familie. In a nice villa arena, with big pool, en close to the beach was it perfect for us, a family with 2 children. There is an outside kitchen with bbq, and we enjoyed cooking there! Thanks Jesus and Maite!

We had a lovely holiday at the villa. It had everything we needed and more. Two stand out features were the pool and outdoor kitchen. Location also great with the beach & small supermarket within walking distance and bigger shops within a 5 minute drive. The beach itself was one of the nicest we’ve been too. Safe, sandy and not too crowded. I would highly recommend Jesus’s villa for a holiday stay.

Vi hadde et supert opphold i El Campello, huset hadde alt vi trengte, og med en beliggenhet nært til både dagligvarebutikk og offentlig transport. Har du lyst å være i villa, men ikke ha leiebil så er dette huset absolutt å anbefale.

We stayed as a family of 4 Adults 2 in their 50s and 2 in 20s. Villa was beautiful, immaculately clean, lots of space. Kitchen had everything you need, bed linen and huge lovely towels provided. Garden was stunning, pool was amazing and cleaned regularly by pool man who comes about 7 in the morning, once a week. The outside kitchen area, and seating was a great space, the outside fridge freezer a bonus. There is also an outside toilet. We used the tram to Alicante, approx 25 mins and 1.45 euros each way, tram stop 10 mins walk down hill, really easy journey. We had a car, mercadona supermarket only a few mins drive and a good size. Lots of restaurants, within a few mins drive. Benidorm only 30 mins drive. The villa was so lovely , we stayed there most days, everything we needed. We did take a trip to the mud pools on the mar menor, about an hours drive , a great day out. Maite and her family were really friendly and helpful. I would recommend this villa to families and couples, total peace,, but not to far from things to do.

Hemos estado una semana en agosto y fenomenal. La casa es muy grande ,la zona muy tranquila ,la playa no esta nada masificada y los dueños fenomenal..sobre todo Mayte que es majisima así da gusto !!! Se recomienda 100%

Una casa muy cómoda para disfrutar del buen clima alicantino. La zona de la barbacoa, junto a la piscina, es ideal para pasar el día (desayuno, comida, cena, lectura, pintura, juegos de mesa...). Las tumbonas muy cómodas. Mayte, la anfitriona, muy amable.

Zona muy tranquila y familiar. Casa en perfectas condiciones, muy limpia, cuidada y acogedora. Zona de piscina y barbacoa fantástica, ideal para hacer vida en el exterior. Excelente trato por parte de la propietaria.

Las fotos no evidencian la preciosidad del entorno y de la casa. Hemos ido una familia con niños y Maite desde el primer momento nos ha hecho sentir en nuestra casa. No nos ha faltado ni el más mínimo detalle. Mencionar su cuidadoso estado de limpieza, eso nos ha echo sentir seguros frente a la situación del Covid. Tranquilidad y desconexión absoluta con posibilidad de hacer muchas cosas. La playa queda cerca andando siendo está muy espaciosa. En definitiva un lugar para volver!!!! Gracias Maite!!!

Great place near the beach and El campello centre. We visit El campello for years now and this was the best place we’ve ever spend our time. We hope to do this again.

No se nos avisó de la presencia de un gato en la casa y viajaba una persona alérgica a estos animales. Tuvimos que visitar varias veces la farmacia. Por todo lo demás, la casa es muy acogedora y hemos disfrutado de ella y de la estancia.

Wow. This was the most wonderful holiday we have had with our 3 and 5 year old - just what we needed. I had seen the property when I was in Spain earlier in the year. The owners had been accommodating and so lovely. They had confirmed we could check in early as our flight landed in the morning but unfortunately we were late arriving (thank you Easyjet). Maite was there waiting. Showed us what we needed. It was pristine. Our five year old loved the toys (especially the ride on motorbike). It was so peaceful - unbelievable for Spain in August. The only noise was the cicadas. We may have heard someone once. Pool was clean (it was deep at one end) and cleaned free twice during our 2 weeks. They offered us a cleaner which we negotiated on the price. The international TV didn't work on arrival but Jesus replaced the TV within 24 hours. There were board games and a BBQ which we didn't use. The supermarket was a 5/10 min drive. The beach was a 10 min walk - we only went there once as the pool was just amazing. So warm even at 10am. A few restaurants and beach bars near by but the busier Campello beach was 10 minute drive (we didn't venture that fair). The tram is a five minute walk and we went to Alicante for 1 euro 45 c (20 euros in a cab back). Downside? There was no bath as per the pictures - BUT an amazing new shower room which our kids actually loved despite it being their first ever real shower. We cooked a lot (our choice as our kids don't like sitting still in a restaurant) - no kettle BUT an amazing Nespresso machine (am sure the owner would have bought a kettle if we had asked). Parking was great (a bit tight but ok for a standard car but you can park on the road right outside the house no issues). Remote control gate. So safe for kids - all lockable. And a cat came around (we named her Buddy) but we should probably should not have encouraged her but she was too cute. We were so sorry to leave.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Villa. The owners are very nice, personable people who helped accommodate our needs during the first few days as we settled in for our 10 day Holiday. The house meet our exceptions as depicted on the Home Away site. The outdoor patio with fire pit made entertaining enjoyable for our extended family that were also in the area. We all enjoyed the pool after a day on the beach and in the evenings. The Villa and location made for an extremely relaxed time for our family. The beach was approximately a 600 ft walk down the hill and we found it to be the best of all the local beaches in the immediate area. Day beds and umbrellas were reasonably priced and made our time on the beach enjoyable. The local food stores, restaurants and bars were all either a short walk or cab ride away. The 21 Bus has a stop right down the street and can take you locally or directly to El Campello. The Tram was a short walk away as well and can get you to many locations near or far. El Campello is a beautiful town with many restaurants and bars along the promenade making it great for families as well as adults. Overall an excellent experience staying at the Villa that made our Holiday one of the best we have ever had as a family. We as well as our other family members would seriously consider future rentals in is property. We would like to express our gratitude to Jesus and Maite for their hospitality and for letting us stay in their beautiful Villa!

La verdad es que las fotografías no le hacen justicia a la propiedad. Es super espaciosa, el área de la piscina/barbacoa es espectacular (de hecho, prácticamente toda nuestra estadía hicimos vida en esa área), muy cerca de la playa, y con facilidad de acceso a supermercados. Me habría gustado que el área de la piscina tuviera un poco mas de iluminación, pero en general, nos hemos pasado unas vacaciones geniales en el sitio. Atención espectacular por parte de los propietarios, que nunca dudaron en atender nuestras dudas, y siempre estuvieron atentos. Totalmente recomendado.

We were three generationer. All got on fantastically well here. A wonderful pool and an outdoor kitchen with lots of seating. We'd love to come back because everything was so nice We lacked a little spice in the kitchen and tea towels . If you thought at work with the computer or read and answer their email , so this does not work . Wifi was available but we could not even read their mail .

We had a lovely time at this Villa - it was spacious and clean with a beautiful garden and BBQ area. The gated swimming pool was great and allowed us a family to relax with our 2 year old Grandson, all in all we couldn't fault it. Finally, I must add what a lovely family the owners are, nothing was too much trouble for them from the initial booking to saying goodbye - they were so helpful and kind. I would definitely return and most certainly recommend this Villa.

We stayed at this villa as family of 6, 4 adults and 2 children. The villa is great, well equipped, clean and large! The pool was a good size and kids loved the diving board. Only comment is that there could do with a couple more sun loungers as there was only 2. The outside cooking area was also an asset and we used the BBQ a couple of times. Villa is in a good location a short from the beach and access to tram which takes you to El Campello or Alicante. We have a fab holiday and wouldn't hesitate staying here again if we came to this area.

We have just returned from a week at this villa and had a really great time! The owner Jesus was very helpful throughout the booking process and was happy to answer all of my queries pre arrival. His wife met us on arrival and showed us around the villa and how everything worked. The villa itself was extremely clean and well maintained. The outdoor kitchen area was great for eating outdoors even when we were unlucky enough to have a rainy day! The lockable gate to the pool was great at keeping our little boy out of the pool area without an adult. The villa also had plenty of inflatables and buckets and spades for the pool/beach. The villa is a short walk from bars, supermarket, a great butcher and baker and the beach. The centre of el Campello is just a short tram ride away on the most efficient and clean tram service! All in all we had a lovely holiday in a great villa and would definitely come again!

Great villa. Really well equipped. The pool & outdoor kitchen are perfect for the hot weather. It is all very comfortable & ideally located for the beach & also a short distance to the city by car. Jesus was very helpful & met us at the villa to explain everything. We were also treated to a beautiful bowl of fresh fruit which was really kind. I would recommend this villa, it was all extremely clean and comfortable & set in a nice quiet location.

Excellent Villa Great Stay ?We stayed at the villa for one week in September 2012. We have 2 year old triplets so we were naturally nervous about taking them abroad for the first time. Thankfully, the owner Jesus and his wife Matte were extremely helpful and even managed to provide us with 3 travel cost for our stay free of charge. The villa itself is a large well decorated detached property set in a nice quiet area of San Juan and it is literally 2 minutes by car to the beach or a 10 minute walk. The property is set behind a tree lined fence on all sides and access is gained by either a lockable front gate or security gates with a keyfob which the owner provides. This was of great use to us as we could drive straight into the grounds and close the gates again behind us before the children got out of the car. The villa has 3 good size bedrooms (2 doubles and one twin) all with wardrobes, a huge living room, 2 very nice large bathrooms with power showers and a kitchen with oven, microwave, cups, plates, glasses etc. The owner also has cable TV, a Large flat screen, DVD and CD player in the living room. Outside the property is a huge well maintained garden with Olive and fig trees and a beautiful swimming pool which is surrounded by a small picket fence with a lockable gate - which is a great relief if like us you have small children. Next to the pool is a large barbecue area with table, chairs, sink and even an outside gas oven for cooking along with a CD player and an outside toilet. The beach at San Juan is amazing as is the beach at El Campello. We would recommend renting a car to explore the area as the beautiful Altea and the ?interesting? Benidorm are about 20 minutes away. We would recommend the restaurants at the seafront in El Campello where we ate every evening. Both San Juan and El Campello are holiday destinations more for Spanish people on vacation from places like Madrid so there is only a small amount of English tourists. As such the seafood in El Campello (which has its own harbour) is amazing and the prices are very reasonable. A 3 course meal for adults and 3 children?s meals with beer and wine was approx. 60 euros which is excellent value. In the UK a similar meal would be around ?100 easy. Anyway we had a brilliant time at the villa, the owners are great and we were back for just 2 days before we booked again for next year (2013) but this time for 2 weeks.
