Magnificient views. Tranquility. Great food. Friendly staff.

literally everything was great! A stunning beautiful location, overlooking the mountains, fantastic huge rooms, big comfortable beds, great helpful host and delicious food. Anywhere in Europe you would pay at least four times the price that you pay here. best hotel I have been in South America (and we’ve travelled a lot)

The road to the hotel (the last kilometer) is a bumpy adventure…

Monasterio is a fantastic hotel. The view is wonderful, staff are friendly and very helpful, the food at the restaurant is excellent. Cannot recommend this place more

Location- the hotel is a 10 minute car ride from San Agustin but the main access road is kot paved which makes it harder to move around, particularly at night.

The whole Decoration and look and feel was amazing.

What a wonderful place! The room was beautiful, the stuff very helpful particularly Maya at reception.

Two tiny little points but we’re not 100% as I would have liked. It would seem the manager who is there with her children who run around making a fair amount of noise. Generally I think children should be seen as part of society everywhere, however, this hotel lends itself to a quieter, more sophisticated group. The children don’t. Also, the balconies are not private, but shared with one other room. To be clear, this would not stop me from going back!
