The staff were very pleasant. The food was very good, the service was excellent. The room was lovely

Just one little moan the bread they served was the bread or though very tasty was when toasted was very hard to eat

Booked for a colleague, who stated it was one of the best hotels hes ever stayed at. The breakfast was impeccable.

Good value and well located with good walks nearby. Food absolutely excellent (in the evening, breakfast less so but I suspect staffing is an issue here as everywhere) and the room was nicely decorated and extremely comfortable. Good, personable staff.

Breakfast didn't live up to supper but it was perfectly acceptable and served with a smile.

This was ideal for a business trip in the local area. Lovely bar and restaurant. Dinner was excellent. We all enjoyed what we had. The rooms exceeded our expectations and are were extremely good value for money. I would recommend to anyone. The hotel went out of their way to provide a takeaway breakfast for some of our party who had to leave the hotel prior to the commencement of breakfast service, which was greatly appreciated.

The only thing to spoil it was a very bad stench of sewage in the bathroom in our double room. Enough to make us both gag, which was very unpleasant. It was mentioned to reception the following morning and we were told that a plumber had been out the week before but couldn't fix it as the room was been booked out. We only booked that room a few days before we arrived so it should have been sorted before any more bookings were taken.

Lovely hotel with fantastic, attentive staff. Helped arrange an early check in which was greatly appreciated. Room was spacious, light & airy. Very comfortable indeed! Breakfast was delicious & plentiful.

USB plugs in the room would have been an added bonus but would definitely not mark the hotel down on this very minor issue.
